I bought a TIVO Bolt to replace an aging TIVO Premiere. I was going to use the Premiere for a second TV because it has a lifetime service contract. But the TIVO Mini offers so much more than the Premiere and it does not require a service contract. So we decided to give it a try. We are very happy that we did. It works perfectly. The TIVO Bolt is fed the TV signal through Charter Cable. It is connected to the internet through an ethernet connection. My TIVO Mini connects to the TIVO Bolt through an ethernet connection also. Only problem we had was solved by support when they told me to connect the Mini directly to the router without going through a switch. After I did that, everything has worked perfectly.

If you have a multi tuner current Tivo you can buy these instead of extra Tivo or cable DVRs. One time charge eliminates the monthly fees. I've used AT&T's U-Verse with supposedly similar features and there's no caparison. None. Tivo beats it in quality, usability, number of tuners (HD) and quality of the video.

I love that it hooks up to my bolt via moca. And don't pay a separate fee.

Purchased a Tivo Bolt box plus a couple Mini's. Now have 3 HD TV's networked on cable and capable of utilizing virtually everything that cable has to offer, without having to pay rent every month for each TV interface. The Tivo equipment was relatively easy to set up and required a minimum of assistance over the phone from Tivo and cable provider.

This new TiVo is really great with a new interface that is a bit hard to use at first, but you get used to it. It's so nice to not have to transfer a recording from one room to another. It just works the way you would expect it to work.

This box is a nice addition to my TiVo network. My only issue with this box is that it needs to be reset from time to time. It seams to happen if I leave it streaming video from online for an extended period of time. The issue isn't so much long streaming sessions, I can binge watch without issue, its when the app goes into the "Are you still there" check and if that isn't dismissed and the box is allowed to sit for a while, it locks up on a blank screen. The system resets quick and I just have to keep in mind not to leave it streaming when I'm not watching (ie falling asleep). Other than that, it saves me from needing a whole big tivo box and cable card for a rarely used tv. I now have three of these and two big TiVo boxes for my whole house network.

I have been a faithful TiVo user for as long as it's been around and this unit along with Roamio Plus is they way to go. The only feature I wish they had on this is wireless as each TiVo mini requires either a hardware Ethernet connection or hard wired MoCa connection which is basically Ethernet over coaxial cable (which you need adapters on both ends for).

Love the tivo mini and the ability to move between rooms and watch live or recorded shows from Caleb without having to have a cable line there also.

Bought this to replace a 92000. This is so much better having the RF instead of the IR. That was the main reason why I bought this. I had this mini placed behind a wall mounted TV where the plug is hidden behind the TV. Wanted to keep the clean look. The old mini with the IR was iffy when hitting commands on the remote. Sometimes it would accept it and sometimes you had to angle the remote. Now no matter where the remote is pointing it will accept the command. And on top of that (not sure if its a placebo affect) but I feel like the 93000 is faster than the 92000. Menus and command come up faster.

The mini is simply an extension of my DVR and it fits its purpose well. The only trouble I have is the remote is set to RF but it switches back to infrared some times and I have to click the buttons multiple t8mes to get RF to activate. I returned the unit as defective and am waiting for a replacement.

This is a great substitute for a cable dvr box. I love it! Only thing I would like to see is more subscription service apps added. Hopefully they add HBO and Showtime soon.

I got fed up with a flaky CableCard in a TV in a craft room, so I replaced it with a TiVo mini slaved to our main TiVo, a Roamio Pro. It works so much better than the CableCard. Within two years the savings on CableCard rent will pay for the mini. It provides the standard TiVo program guide. It gives access to shows recorded on the Roamio. It does consume a tuner on the Roamio when used to watch live TV, but as the Roamio has six tuners, that's not a problem. I like it enough that I'm thinking of replacing an old TiVo unit in another room with a mini.

I have the main unit in the lower level, but I hate being confined, so I bought a couple of these minis for the main level and upper level. They work like a charm, and I am no longer a prisoner!

Easy to set up, works great with my Roamio. A money saver too since I got rid of a HD Cable box. This will pay for itself in less than a year.

This is a great add-on to your Tivo Bolt. It uses the Bolt's tuners to get its signal and you can eliminate having to pay for a box from the cable company. You can watch any program on your Bolt on any TV that has the Mini. Highly recommend!

I purchased 2 of these to compliment my Roamio. They seemed to work well with an occasional issue of initial lag when changing channels. I also wish the current show would be present on the preview bar as it is with the Roamio. Other that that, it works great with my TiVo system using a MOCA network.

I can't speak highly enough about these little guys! They area huge upgrade over anything you can get from your cable provider as long as you have a TIVO Roamio box to go with them!

I have the Bolt DVR and two minis. They work together seamlessly. I cut the cable went antenna. The integrated menus and ability to access major streaming apps. Over all very impressed. Will recommend TiVo's newest products.
