I bought my Romio OTA back in September 2014 and have loved using it since day 1. I added a TiVo mini a few weeks ago, and it works as advertised. Now I love 2 TiVo products.

Works just like I have a TiVo hooked up to my TV. Great picture and no lags or delays!

So when my partner moved in we decided to put a TV in the bedroom. As I already had a TiVo in the family room the TiVo mini was an obvious choice. Setup was easy and was up and running in no time with no additional cost as you'd normally have with the cable companies. I can watch live TV via the main TiVo box or watch existing recorded programs as well with no apparent lag or loss of quality.

Great Tivo design, works just as it should and the Best Buy employee knew right where to find it. Setup was a breeze.

Easy to install, and they work great. Very few problems once installed.

I've used TIVO since the very beginning. Like most TIVO add-ons, I found the TIVO mini requires some patience to setup as it is not what I would consider plug and play (however, not as challenging as the TIVO Stream). Having said that, once you work through the steps to make it work, it delivers what it promises, an affordable TIVO experience on a separate TV in your home without purchasing another TIVO unit or another monthly or lifetime service plan. It essentially "borrows" one of the tuners on your other multiple tuner TIVO unit. The TIVO mini does not work via WIFI, rather it requires you to have a direct ethernet connection to your Mini, or to enable a MoCA network over your coax cable which is likely to be running to your TV. Since I had neither running to the TV where I planned to use the Mini, I did manage a successful hookup by just moving my WIFI booster (which does have an ethernet port on it) next to my TV and it worked fine. However, this may not work for everyone. Bottom line give the Mini a try if it fits your needs and you enjoy the challenge.

I bought this to go with my new Tivo Bolt. It was easy to set up and works and performs just like the Tivo. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that it is 1080p and not 4k.

This Tivo Mini was purchased so my wife and I could watch TV in our basement "Pain Cave" (where our bicycles are set up on CompuTrainers for indoor cycling training.) It has worked flawlessly. With the (separately-purchased) MoCa adapter system, it provides a better viewing experience than the WIFI-based MS Windows Media Extender setup we used to use.

We use this Mini to extend our TiVo Bolt service to a 2nd TV and found that it works perfectly. Once you understand that it really needs a network cable connection, not wireless, the set up was simple. This Mini extends the awesome interface and usability of the TiVo Bolt, and the remote, it's black so we can tell it apart from the Bolt's white remote - nice touch.

We love the Tivo Mini. Easy to setup and perfect for companion for the Roamio. Plus - no service fee.

This is an add on to my Romeo Pro. I can watch TV from another room and not pay a monthly fee to TiVo.

It's a good whole home solution to add to your existing Tivo. Had some problems, but Tivo sent out replacements quickly and with no issues.

Works great right out the box. Set up easily. No problems at all.

The mini works just like it was the main DVR in the family room. The only down side is the expense of adding a CoCA network for just one unit.

I bought my TIVO Mini to bring my TIVO recordings and full cable channel access to another TV in my house. We have a TIVO Bolt + with a multi stream cable card in it. The mini allows complete access to all of the shows recorded on the Bolt+ as well as my full cable channel lineup. It works as advertised. I couldn't be happier with it.

The mini is a great way to tie a second TV to a supported TiVo box. You get the full functionality of a TiVo box with no added subscription costs. You do lose access to a tuner on the main TiVo when watching TV. The initial setup can be frustrating and take literally hours to complete. However, once set up, operation has been flawless. You do need either an Ethernet or MoCA connection between the Mini and host TiVo box.

This is a great product. Easy to install and love the speed.

I have a Bolt and two Minis. The two Minis work great with the Bolt. As a heads up, the Minis will only display your cable service at a maximum of 1080i. Any streaming services will run at 1080p if the content is sent at 1080p. I compared the picture quality to my FIOS Quantum client box and the TiVo looked exactly the same.

Did not know (probably my own fault for not doing enough research) but it only has 1 tuner capability. Nice that there are no additional subscription fees for it. Also nice that you don't have to run coax if you have network connectivity. If it had more than 1 tuner, I would have given it a higher rating. If you are looking to be able to access your TiVo from another room and are OK with only 1 tuner, then I would recommend this as a good addition to your TiVo setup.

I replaced 3 Tivos with a mini and a roamio pro. Simplified my setup and cut my cable bill and Tivo bill. The set works great.
