Game is very similar to persona. The main relation to FE is in this game versions of personas. The main characters is Chrom. Also some sounds like leveling up. Only downside is game language is only in japanese, so unless you know some Japanese, you won't know all that is said during battles. Very weeby, so you have been warned.

The theme of the game is bizarre and not something I thought I would like, but the over style and charm of the game won me over. TMS #FE proudly declares itself a crossover between Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem, but it has far more in common with SMT (specifically Persona) than it does Fire Emblem. The only thing I could really hold against it is the fact that it doesn't have an English dub when most Atlus games do.

While there’s nothing really Fire Emblem about it, the SMT elements are all good. The gameplay and characters are both phenominal, and the artstyle is also very colourful. The only things holding it back are probably the super cliche yet somehow convoluted plot and my personal disdain of music videos and idol culture (which they shove down your throat a lot).

This game is a blast. It combines all the things I love about Fire Emblem with the Altus 's crazy RPG games characters. It was an okay game on the Wii U, but like all Wii U games it was a pain to play because of the Wii U's tablet controller. Playing it on the Switch is the best way to play it period.

This is an excellent port of the Wii U original that many people did not get a chance to play. There are a few minor changes, but nothing that detracts from the game play. For fans of Atlas games, this is another quality product that finally gets a chance to shine.

I played the original Wii U version and now this port allows me to play this on the go. It's still the same game with some improvements to make your experience better. I would recommend this game if you're fan of the Persona and Fire Emblem series or JRPGs in general.

This game is pretty simple, but simplicity is sometimes better than an overabundance of gameplay mechanics that get you tangled up in learning how to play the game versus actually playing it. The Fire Emblem characters are kind of tacked on, but you get some fan service.

Fun game, nice music, though this game feels more in line with a Persona game with famous characters taking the place of personas. The Persona/Shin Megami Tensei influences feel a lot stronger, whereas the Fire Emblem elements largely revolve around mechanics during fighting and plot.

I had this game on the Wii U but never played much of it and I’m glad I got to play it again on the switch. If you like Persona type JRPGs then this game will be right up your alley! It’s a lot of fun and it’s a very focused and upbeat game.

Loved this game on the Wii U and it aged very well. The one issue is the localization is a little lazy. There’s no English VO, which is fine, but there’s also no subtitles for a lot of the dialogue, especially in battle. Which is frustrating.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions was an underrated gem on the Wii U and now Nintendo Switch owners can enjoy one of the best RPG's on the system. If you are a fan of the Persona or Shin Megami Tensai series' you owe it to yourself to check out this title.

Glad that this extremely solid game is free from the WiiU gulag. It’s not a masterpiece by any means- writing is deeply stupid but the gameplay and characters are fun. Don’t take it too seriously and you’ll have a good time.

Can’t play Persona 5 on Switch, but this game is somewhat close. May not be as impressive visually or by scope, but a much better combat system if you ask me and a merciful 50 hour length as opposed to Persona 5’s 100 hours.

Good jrpg ported on to the switch. It runs good on for me so far. I heard it been censored in the west. I hope it doesn't bother me but if it's true that kinda sucks.
