Customers are saying

Customers highly value the smooth gameplay and varied missions offered in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Many also appreciate the immersive open world and engaging storyline. The inclusion of a steelbook is a plus for some buyers. Positive feedback also highlights the game's affordability, especially when purchased at a discount.

This game has a lot of parts and pieces to it. While different and a deviation from Wildlands' design, it does incorporate the gear system fairly well. The missions are varied and the gameplay is fun. Haven't done pvp yet due to running around in the open sand box world and just seeing what I can do. While the challenges for each class are fun to complete and level up, they really don't have much impact on gameplay. Where they will probably make the biggest difference is in coop play, especially considering everyone can use any weapon. The survival aspect seems dumbed down from the initial pitch. You don't really need your canteen if you manage your stamina, and injuries don't become serious unless you have a critical one that restricts your health bar or if really critical, you won't be able to use anything but your sidearm/handgun. This is because you have unlimited bandages and a regenerative health system. There are also perks that allow for quicker regen and higher resistance to injury, making you a considerable tank. Overall, the sniping, gunplay, etc. is fun. Wish there was a little more customization, but there's enough to make a difference between weapons.

I liked Ghost Recon: Wildlands and assumed this would be the same, but it was originally a step backwards. No teammates and a lot of bugs. The Beta was a huge mess that made me think I would never play it, but Ubisoft has fixed most of the problems and now the game is much better. Teammates are back and if you like liked Wildlands you will probably enjoy this as well, especially since it goes on sale often.

First off, this is a BIG game. The map is large and there is a lot to do. That being said, it is not significantly different from GR Wildlands, except for the fact that you are by yourself and don't have a team of AI support. So you are really an Army of One. If you play a lot of Ubisoft games, you will see a lot of things that are familiar: Drone Control from Watch Dogs and a LOT from the Division. In fact it seems a lot like the Division in the Jungle. Overall, I am having fun, but the reviews will probably show that this is kind of a weak sequel.

I didn't give this game 5 stars because I feel like there were a lot of bugs that haven't been worked out yet - game functions that didn't work quite as they should, etc. I'm sure they'll fix them with patches in the near future. That said, I enjoyed playing it (and beating it in 2 days). I enjoyed the story, but the play style was almost like they combined Wildlands & The Division to produce Breakpoint rather than coming up with something completely new, so if you liked either of those previous games, you'll probably enjoy this one.

I purchased the gold edition of Breakpoint, this game blows Ghost Recon Wild Lines out of the water by a long shot. The detail of the landscape graphics in different areas of the map where you have different weather conditions is unreal, but the thing that makes the game tick imo is the multiplayer gameplay on extreme setting (no map or hud). You can get a squad of your buddies together and play the game like it was meant to be played, not to mention you can assemble a uniform from every service branch elite units (army rangers/green beret, navy seals, marine delta recon, Air Force para trooper etc...). You can play solo or with your buddies the choice is up to you, but this game is a true military sim if you want to play that way as well.

    1. Graphics: 8/10 2. Sound: 8/10 3: controls: 8/10 4. Gameplay: 8/10 5. Fun Factor: 8/10 Note: This is not “Wildlands II”. Totally different experience. It’s a mix of Division 2 + Destiny II + GRWL. Note 2: Yes, there are micro transactions, but they are not necessary. All gaming companies are having MTs, so do not let that discourage you

I enjoyed it but, much has changed since Ghost Recon Wildlands, now gear has a score rating much like other games. There's just enough enjoyment to give it a 3 out of 5. Still you should get it when price drops.

Is it better than Wildlands? I would say no, but that doesn't mean this game isn't good. It is more like a Wildlands and The Division hybrid. I would recommend this game if you enjoyed the previous Wildlands and The Division.

I had high hopes for this game which is why i bought the Gold Edition. The game feels odd. Just within the first few minutes something didn't gel. The animations are off putting for me. Maybe a patch can fix this. It always looks like your character is wounded or pinching a loaf. even when crouching it looks....weird. it feels like an open world game with RPG gameplay then tries to be a military loot shooter 2nd. and ALOT of that loot is tied up in micro transactions. literally. Gold and Deluxe edition purchasers should have access to these items (or exclusives) as they spent much more then the vanilla releases. Ill try to get into it again.
