This game goes far and beyond my expectations! I have been waiting for this game for a year now and it did not disappoint. The ability to play offline with the AI (who are actually intelligent compared to other shooters where you have to do 100% of the work) and online with your friends is really awesome. The overall gameplay is spectacular with only very minor bugs that will get patched. They do not impact gameplay at all. The visuals are amazing and I'm only on the regular PS4 from release day a few years ago. I can't imagine how awesome it would be in 4K! It's a must buy if you like this type of game! Do not let The Division change your mind as these two do not compare!

The overall gameplay is fun. Every vehicle in this game is drivable. Vehicles such as cars, trucks, boats, helicopters and planes. Many weapons to choose from, but you'll mainly use a sniper rifle to pick off your enemies before going into your objective. As you advance you begin to notice that all of the side missions are redundant. Every state will have you steal a helicopter or plane, capture a convoy, interrogate a luitenant, or break into a comms tower, etc.
The online gameplay is fun since you are able to play with friends or random people. It's more challenging because you are relying on an actual person to hit their target. When you play solo, the computer AI never misses.
Have fun

Good game always have liked the tom Clancy games this one is especially good given it's a ghost recon game and we haven't seen a release for ghost recon since the last get consoles . Recommend if you like the third person shooter and like a more campaign gameplay vs PvP which the game does have now.

I purchased this game recently with my friends and we were fairly skeptical at first because we previously purchased Tom Clancy's The Division and that was only fun to play for a while. So we naturally thought this Tom Clancy game would be more of the same. It is not. The map in Ghost Recon is HUGE with lots of stuff to do. This is like a hybrid of Grand Theft Auto and Rainbow Six. Ghost Recon has a pretty phenomenal story to go along with it. Highly recommend this game. It is rated M so I wouldn't recommend it for a younger child to play. 10/10 for me though. Great game! Even better if you have friends to play it with!

Finally a Tactical Third Person Shooter

Since they took the Socom Confrontation servers down I have been looking for a third person tactical shooter. In enters Ghost Recon Wildlands. Their perfect mix of open world and tactical coop gameplay. There is a ton to unlock in this game and a huge world to explore. The 4 player coop and single player modes blend seamlessly providing hours of fun. The developers are also adding pvp multiplayer to the game which will make it even more fun. There are some mior glitches and some of the missions are repetitive but most games have these flaws these days. Do yourself a favor and don't be the one person on your friends list without this game.

I've been having a lot of fun with this military shooter. Playing mostly solo but co op is also a good time. The map is HUGE and plenty of weapons and upgrades to collect.

Purchased this when it was on sale for $39.99. Had a $20 gift card, and figured it was worth the bargain. Once I got home and began playing it, I realized I hadn't given the game a fair shake. The map is ridiculously huge! This is like the Grand Theft Auto of military games. There are a lot of side missions and once you finish the first area on the map, you are able to see just how enormous the game is. Set in Bolivia, this game delivers very well with the gameplay and tactics. It has been an enjoyable adventure and one i would recommend to anyone interested in 3rd person shooters.

pros: good tactical shooter - it pays to take your time and take them out steathily. Customizable weapons and characters and gadgets. You can feel free to play how you want - I like to play long range and silent. It's a massive open world that's going to take a long time to explore and do all the cartel missions. It's fun and the missions are a good challenge. 4 modes of difficulty to choose from. There's lots of side missions and things to pick up and do too.
cons: Way too much swearing. Driving and flying controls aren't the best. Sometimes your AI buddies mess you up.

GR WIldlands offers a great open world experience across a large map. Plenty of story missions and side quests, you van play solo, co-op and join public missions. Customization is very good down to variety of Clothing, camos, weapons and their nice addons/field accessories. The graphics are good and its revolving weather and night/day is a nice touch. Plenty of vehicles and air mobility is available. The collector strategy guide is over 630 pages, so that illustrates the depth of this game. Well worth it

This is by far the best game I have played in years. My 9 year old son and I can't get enough play time in on this game. So much to do and see, make sure you have time to spend because this game sucks you in.

This game has a huge map! Once you get past the introduction tutorial the world opens up and you can go anywhere. I like the way that the map is empty of icons at the beginning and you can unlock these icons to show on the map if you find the intel that is scattered everywhere. There are many side missions that you can do without doing any of the main mission. There are 21 provinces that are set in different difficulties. Plus there tons of unlockables to find. You have to find weapons to upgrade. Also there are many upgrades/skills to unlock by doing side missions. Every mission can be completed in multitude of ways... you can sneak in, go in guns a blazing, snipe to eliminate, stealth take downs, and even drive the enemy vehicle right into the middle of the heavily fortified base. The driving/flying mechanics are not great but once you get the hang of it you can uncover the map as you please. You can play up to 4 person co-op or single play with 3 AI. I play single player and love it.
I have this game on PS4 and PC with over 100 hours of gameplay. I am not ready to move on yet.

After endless, blissful and strategic war torn hours and battles, Ghost Recon can be a soothing option to idle away some more "endless, blissful and strategic war torn hours and battles." Sometimes a little more setting and maneuvering control can be a good thing! If you're a heavy duty war games monger and comrade, then you'll find this game's action and diversion a lot more pleasing than the many other mamby-pamby, baby-stuff copy cats from the one-and-only CoD!

I didn't have extremely high hopes for this game, but since I was able to play the Beta with a couple of my friends, I knew this would be a Must-Buy.
I am enjoying the vast open world that this game has. The ability to go anywhere, at anytime, is fantastic. The graphics are beautiful, and the gunplay is actually pretty good.
This is a fun game to play solo, as you get three CPU controlled guys that work with you, or you can play with up to three other friends.

This installment of the long running Ghost Recon series takes on an almost GTA open world style to it - with missions and collectibles all over the HUGE map. It's at it's best in Co-Op. Super fun with even just one buddy online taking out enemy bases and drug lords hideouts. Vehicles include cars, motorcycles, helicopters, airplanes. Almost Battlefield like amounts of vehicles to grab and add to the fun. Can be played solo with A.I. partners as well. Recommended

I played the Division and I thought it was ok, but Ghost Recon was a whole lot better. I get to play the campaign with my friends and it's very open world. It seems endless when traveling either by foot, car or helicopter. You get to fight and kill the cartel and edit your character at will changing different aspects even after you create it. I would recommend this game to any one who likes to shoot things and at the same time with your friends.

This game is a lot like GTA and Far Cry in the way of having an open world with various quests and side quests for you to perform. The map functions the same way.
This game is great at allowing you to scout out and strategize a game plan before missions. There's also some stealth strategy available.
The Multi-player element is cool because you can team up with 3 other people and perform missions together.
I'd recommend for people that like shooters.
