    Worth It

I wont lie, I bought this game just for online play. However it is still a great game. There are better game modes, more game modes, and more ways to challenge yourself. To unlock weapons you must actually obtain achievements, and as you rank up, the only unlockables you get for ranking up now are clothing or camouflage. There are more weapons, and better weapons in some cases, like the 500 tactical shotgun for example. For the people who want to challenge themselves in the game, there is now the ability to turn your radar on and off in the online play. On the bad side though, the maps were supposed to be smaller, and the maps if anything got larger in height and smaller in width. Making navigation a confusing thing. And the contrast between light and dark in the game is too much, in the stairwells on certain maps you must walk around with thermal or night vision on just to make our way through the stairwell. You can adjust the brightness and such for just the game, even online, but its a sensitive adjustment.

    Great Shooter

Though RSV2 is very similar to the original version, it has been updated to include new uniforms weapons, and levels. Many of the problems with AI have been greatly fixed and its now actually rather tought to play against the computer in campaign or terrorist hunt modes. Still one of the best shooters out there.

The perfect strategy game for shooters.

This game is one of my favorite games when it comes to strategy for shooters, and on a console. The duck and cover scheme is one that I have always loved, from Gears of War and Army of Two. You can rapple and take people out silently, search rooms with snake cams, and maneuver your team through tight situations. There is a very wide range of cusotmizable weapons, camo, and armor to suit your image of a real Rainbow Six Operative. You can add ACOG Scoped, silencers, and even laser sights on your weapons. I love games with ranking systems on it. The more you kill and destroy, the more you'll rank up. You start as a Private, and will eventually, if you have no life, make it to Elite. Which seems like it would take a long time. Graphics are phenomenal in this game. I just love the gameplay and the storyline. The terrorist hunt is also extremely fun. This game can be played online, with co-op campaign and terrorist hunt. Loved it!

This game is awesome. Even though the graphics arent that well its still a great game. The weapons, camo, and attachments make this game more interesting and fun to play. Vegas 2 is more concentrated on the Multiplayer than the campaign. The campaign is short. There is a new thing called A.C.E.S that help you lvl up and get new weapons.

GO GET THIS GAME RIGHT NOW!!!!

This is probably the best game out right now! The graphics have you playing nonstop! There are great new weapons, there are new maps and playmodes(but they did take out retrevial for a game where you have to plant a bomb) You can even shoot through thin walls like plastic and wood. You will still be safe behind big stone walls, though. The enemies in storymode are a lot smarter and will even approach you with shields! Some of the cons are they made it a lot like cod4 because they now call team sharpshooter team deathmatch, there is a new sprint button, and they have the same bomb game. You should buy this game as soon as possible!

This game is a good tactical shooter. There is good co-op support both online and split screen. The online multiplayer is also fun but not as deep as some other games out there. The ranking up system has been changed from the first Vegas so that you can rank up in any mode. This way if you play story a lot and get some sweet weapons you can use them online as well. Ranking up and gaining new things to customize your character with is fun. You can now run which speeds the game up a little bit. The graphics haven't changed since the first Vegas and I even noticed some slowdown on certain parts. Overall the game still feels just like the last couple Rainbow Six games.

    Decent Game

RSV2 is a decent game and worth a look to anyone who is either a fan of the first game or looking for a shooter with decent online play. The single player story mode is still fun even though I couldn`t really see the link between Vegas 1 and Vegas 2. There are some minor graphic glitches. Terrorist hunt is one of the most fun game modes to play. The ACES system feels very unfinished. Since once you get all 3 catagories to level 20 you keep getting aces points in each catagory but there are no more expierience point rewards. The multiplayer versus isn`t as fun as in RSV1. As ubisoft took out the unlimited respawn option is all of the game modes except 3. The multiplayer maps are as fun as in the last installment. Overall not a bad game and not an overly outstanding game. Just somewhere in between.

    Good, but not great

This game hits the sweet spot for tactical shooting, but falls short in other key areas. Single player and co-op story game play are done well enough, but the story itself has left a lot to be desired. Never feeling like it brings closure to the first game, and shallow when it comes right down to it. The game play has been tweaked, with modifications to your character that give you a sense of ownership, along with some new weaponry. Glitches have been remedied in story and T hunt for the most part, but the niggling little errors manage to come up every now and then. A little more time in the oven could have made this feel like more than an expansion pack, but for what it gets right...man is it worth it. Visceral, tactical urban combat, baby!

    Great Game!

I have been able to play it for about an hour and so far it has been a great game. I only ran into one glitch where you rappel up a wall then move to the right where the training tips tell you to equip a smoke grenade a throw it. My two buddies ran past me and into the smoke never to be seen again..until I reloaded the checkpoint. Other than that the game has been great and I look forward to playing more of it! If you like FPS then you need to play this one.

    Fun in Vegas

Playing Vegas one kinda became boring and repetitive and the story was easy to hang onto and fun but it loses replay ability after you beat it, But with the Vegas2 you hang onto the story and you have a bit more of a reason to play as you level up in rank as you get more and more kills and its replay ability is very high. This is a great buy i high recommend it.

This game is amazing! It has everything a first person shooter should have. The detailed environments and the A.I. are oustanding. Earning ranks and EXP points are also great additions to this sequel. Multiplayer is the highlight of this game. It is so addictive. This game deserves to be one of the greatest shooters of all time, even being ranked with Goldeneye 007. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is a great buy. I highly recommend this title.

Wow. I got this game a long time ago, and I still play it! I even decided to start all over and play on my other Xbox account. My main one is Jebus, the other is JebusOwnsU. The AI are really smart, but sometimes can be dumb, and it's actually kind of funny to watch them. Sometimes, though, it can be aggravating to be killed all the time. The outfitting is amazing! There's so much stuff you can customize, there must be a million combinations of stuff. You can customize your character to fit your style. I would DEFINITELY recommend this game!

My friend and I rented this game when we were sleeping over at his house right after he got his 360. We loved this game because of the very rare cooperative multiplayer mode, where we could both do the campaign together. A great combination of modern day guns, heat sensing goggles, smoke grenades, bombs, and lots more make this a perfect game!

Not as Good as the Original

I think this game should be called Rainbow 6 Version 1.5 because it really didnt improve on the original Rainbow 6. The background grapics were slightly toned down. The online matchmaking system is horrible, you cant tell what the ping rate is. I will log in to a game with a green ping rate and then notice during the game it will have gone to red. Making online play very choppy and horrendous. The online multiplayer maps are smaller with more twists and turns. Tried to make the game more like COD4 and it does an ok job in that. Now you can earn ACES point by shooting through walls, etc to help you increase rank and unlock weapons and camo. There are not enough ACES levels, I hit all 20 levels and I am still a Sergeant in the game. The XP is nice that is transfers between SP and MP but it will take a long time to rank up. In SP, your teammates help but they are as smart as bricks. They spend too much time trying to get to cover instead of helping you pass the level. At one point, they got stuck at a table (couldnt walk around the table )and I didnt get to use them for the rest of the level until I hit a check point. *Spoiler* The end Helicopter battle is fun, but not long enough. The game on realistic seemed very easy to play, I beat the game in about 5 hours of game time. I would recommend COD 4 over this game.

This is Rainbow Six Vegas, the content in this game could have easily been made a patch from the original via xbox live/ Playstation Store. The original was a great game and this one is good also, though it is not fresh enough to be great. The originals campaign was alot more theatrical and altogether more thought out. Most every feature, save some of the ranking system tweaks are exactly as it was before- not all bad, just not a 60$ purchase of content. My main problem with this game ( and ubisoft have been known to do this) is sporadic freezing at random points, others have encountered this also, i'v learned from research. Altogether this is a good game- closely rivaling Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4.. Though it falls just short, It has its own advantages over the others, though doesn't quite do the other things as well. If you like charector unlockables and ranking up, then it just may be worth a shot- everything else it has done is decent to good, though not directly comparable to the other mentioned games.

I really enjoy this game, it is just as good as the first one. The one and only negative is that it is so similiar to the first vegas game. It is still worth playing, but maybe not much to get excited about and not worth paying so much more than the first one.
