A Surprisingly Solid Reboot
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."Tomb Raider" is franchise that was struggling for years to create a game that fans would like. When first launched back in the 90's the series was well received for its strong female lead and fun gameplay but the series quickly became plagued by rehashed story points and gameplay so it was time to hit the reset button on the franchise. The reboot reimagines the character from the ground up, giving us an origin story to how Lara Croft became the hard edge adventurer we know. The gameplay is for the most part very solid (though sometimes it relies on QTE a bit too much). The strongest component though is its killer story that will keep you engaged.
