Great gps and real time traffic I’ve always used Garmin but their traffic is ify at best

Overall device is able to help navigate and provide extra functionality compared to a phone. A little deceiving in features as you still need phone connection for traffic. Main menu is a little tough to navigate.

Great GPS has many options to use I would highly recommend this item.

Like TomTom better than Garmin find it easier to use

Wow... totally disappointed in this product. I was expecting a tom-tom device but with all the new connectivity, screen and navigation changes it just was not a good product to have for me. I returned it and kept my old Tom Tom 590 device. They put too much connectivity in this and to have to plan a route from my phone doesn’t make sense to me. The reason I have a gps device is to not use my phone while I’m driving. I don’t want to see who’s calling and don’t care who is texting me...sure I figured out how to turn that off but didn’t like the new settings menu. Seems like TT Just complicated the whole experience in my opinion. Maybe a more expensive higher end version of this will be better but BestBuy didn’t have anything in stock to look at... can no one do anything right anymore? Bad design, bad layout and soured experience.

I was on a trip and it suddenly stopped and wouldn’t come back on. I had to use my I Phone to get to my location. After several hours it came back on.

This is hands down one of the worst GPS's you can buy. I made the mistake of trusting TomTom. It barely updates the traffic even when its connected to Bluetooth/wifi, the voice control is horrible you have to yell as loud as you can to make it somewhat work. And the best part is it will randomly shut down while you are driving even with a full battery. Save your money do not buy this garbage of GPS.

Had problems setting up this item called the manufacture and got no help So it was returned

This didn't provide live traffic update. We got stuck in 3 hour traffic because of that

No where as easy to use as built in navigation in a car

Could not change state once activated. Cumbersome set up. Not for me.

I have an older Tom-Tom and the screen on this model is much brighter. However, it has a sidebar that takes away from visible viewing area, and I find that I prefer the less cluttered, and larger picture on the older device. This does have voice control, which is great. I do wish I could use it on all screens, like Google voice. One drawback, is there are too many swipes to get to the voice control screen. That type of control needs to be accessible with a couple of swipes. Still getting used to it, so may find shortcuts.

My GPS failed this past week after about 6 years use. The power button no longer functions. I've used TomTom for several years, this was my third TomTom purchase. After looking on line I thought the Go 52 unit was what I needed. I purchased tonight, came home and attempted to register product and download latest software. This device will not connect to TomTom site and will not function as GPS until devices is registered to my TomTom account. It will be returned tomorrow.
