While this seems to be a good unit, the graphics and features on the competition were more to my liking; so for personal preference only, I went with the Garmin.

Found to be very accurate and has some great features that I didn't have with my Magellan.

The GPS and functions are simple but still in 2015, GPS systems are still so slow!! I question the point of even purchasing them since Google Map is a great alternative. But so far, he is not complaining which is good news for me. Btw, the lifetime traffic requires a smartphone to connect via Bluetooth to capture that information. Since he is not a smartphone user, he can not utilize the feature.

Perfect verbal direction, with ample graphics to show future turnings and lanes. Good battery life when you forget to plus it in.

First, it says you can use your MyDrive app to send destinations to your GPS, that don't work. Second, half the time I've got to go into the GPS settings and make the unit connect to my phone through Bluetooth. Despite the two units already having been paired. The list goes on and on.

I am sorry to read about your frustrating experience. I'd like to address the issue with having to re-pair MyDrive and the GO; you should not have to login every time you use it. Simply remember not to shut down the app when you are done using it, it will automatically go to the background. The GO and your phone should connect quickly after coming close to each other as long as the MyDrive app is running in the background of your phone and Bluetooth is activated. If you are still having issues, please call us at 866-486-6866.

He said this is a big help for him, it saves him from getting lost. Especially when he goes into Portland.

Also alerts you to where gas stations, red light cameras and other things. So much easier to use that our old Garmin. Love it...
