The 60S is a great size and allows for on the go route changing with ease. Like the traffic alert feature when connected to cell phone.

I have owned several TomToms before this one, and in the past they have been easy and intuitive to use, with fun features to boot, like adding voices and different vehicle icons. This unit has a very high learning curve and has lost all the fun, which is a drag when you drive as much as I do. The main pluses are the Lifetime Maps and Traffic, as well as the 6" screen, which is a help for my middle-aged eyes. If you like spending the time to figure out a new gadget, which includes having to download and read the manual, you'll be fine with this. If not, spend the extra money and buy something else. I would have returned mine, but I had it past 14 days.

Every time we buy a new TomTom GPS, the system changes. We have 4 different models of TomTom units. each one works and set differently. The instruction manual is not easy to understand how to set up the preferences that we would like. So it becomes a trial and see what works. The GPS works well after tou figure how to use it.

This is a great GPS and easy to use! It's training the user that is the most difficult...it was a gift for my elderly father.

The only con is the volume while driving. The volume on the unit is set at maximum, however, the volume is too low and hard to hear while driving.

Not as user friendly as my previous model (VIA), but once I got familiar with the differences it was simple.

This is a pretty solid GPS, accurate and pretty much up there with all the only manufactures. The only downfall I have noticed is the matte-screen, even with the brightness cranked all the way up, it can be difficult to see the screen on sunny days.

I really enjoy using this device instead of using my cell phone, works very well even on country roads. Would have given a 5 star if it had the traffic built in instead of having to connect your phones WiFi to it to get traffic to work, other than that great device for the price!

This is my second TOM TOM and it is by far the best one. I used it on my trip last weekend to Amish country and we had no trouble finding anything. On June 15 we are headed to Mississippi on vacation and we are taking the scenic route and plan to use it there and back. Love it.

Some work to download to computer, but easy to update.

I really like this unit. It almost has too many features and until you get familiar with it can be frustrating to use. The instructions which come with the unit tell you very little about how to use it. I did locate a good user manual on line but it is way too long to print out and carry with you in the car. Eventually I will be able to take advantage of the extensive features available through trial and error.

First Tom Tom we have had, liked our Garmin better, but this is pretty good.

TomTom - Go 60 S is my 4th GPS device from TomTom. And for the first time I can say that I am very satisfied. Pros: The route calculation works very quickly. The connection to the satellite is also very fast. The new software "MyDrive Connect" is intuitive. Cons: The connection between the TomTom and my iPhone could be a little faster. Conclusion: A very good GPS. For everyday use, well usable.

Very good product at a reasonable price. I like the life time maps and screen size.

I'm behind the times. This is my first GPS. The display is big enough to see well without taking my attention away from driving. The lifetime updates will make it all the better. I couldn't be happier. Adding Homer Simpson's voice is a hoot. I chuckle all the way to my destination. I'll never be without one again.
