Most of the units are more expensive but this one wasn't and it works well about Ontario, Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. It does struggle with close roads so sometimes deturns are required and can take a while. It's good at avoiding toll roads if you like that feature. I do.

This GPS is easy to use and has a lot of features. It is an excellent price and I am very happy with my purchase. It has got me to work using different routes when the freeways have been jam packed. I could not be happier. Only thing I would recommend is buying a dashboard mount because it does not stick to the windshield very well, especially when it is very hot. Otherwise an excellent product for the price.

TomTom makes a great product. This is my second one, and am happy with it's reliability and lifetime maps. Can't beat the price, either. For less than $100 with full coverage including Canada and Mexico, and updated maps, I'm more than satisfied with my purchase.

Gets me where I'm going, easy to use, good price!!

This device is easy to set up and use. The routing screen is sleek and intuitive. The ability to save Favorites and remember recent addresses is very useful. Many options can be found in the Settings screens. Negative points include a fairly rudimentary search system. For example one can only find a street in one form. If you are searching for East Aurora street and the device has it listed as E Aurora street you will not find it. To make matters worse, the schema is inconsistent such that some are listed as "East <name>", other streets as "E <name>" and still others as <name> East". Searching by "points of interest" is also nearly useless. When searching for a hospital nearby - a function that could literally be a lifesaver - you will be presented with a list of several hospitals that are merely clinics, outpatient offices, or mental health clinics that just happen to be in the same hospital system. Imagine furiously driving to what you believe to be a hospital and ending up at a dental clinic. Yes, this function is literally that useless.

I bought this to take on out of town trips. So far it has worked just fine. I didn't really need anything special. Just something to help get around places I was not familiar with. I think it was well worth the money. I am glad I bought it when I did.

I love that it has maps of all the United States and Mexico. Wonderful directions

This GPS works well, easy to read and understand. The split screen is an asset.

This GPS was my first and I was amazed what it could do. The directions were accurate and right before every turn I was reminded several times that the turn was about to approach. It's easy to use , great graphics , and a nice speaking voice guides you.

This TomTom was a great purchase at Best Buy that recognized the on-line discounted price, for one thing, and the free map updates feature is great...already two updates in a couple months. The built in suction cup mount works just fine, and the 5" screen is very visible, and the voice is very clear.

My husband and I got this TomTom as a gift. We usually buy Garmin's for ourselves. We took it to the Grand Canyon from Texas - driving. It was good on major highways. However, when traveling in the city, it would tell us to turn left up ahead, and right as we pull to a stop to turn left, it would switch to say "turn right" instead, but there would be 3 lanes to have to avoid in order to proceed the opposite direction. We also tested it in DFW the next weekend, and again, it did it 5 different times while in DFW area - and there was NO way to switch directions. It is very infuriating and I wish I could burn it... The plus side: the graphics are awesome.

After recently moving my mom to AZ from out of state, this is an ideal addition for her car. While it doesn't really understand the concept of parking lots or apartment complexes, it works well for getting her where she needs to go.

When previous unit failed, purchased a later model from same maker. Did not care for other unit, gave it away. Searched for VIA, model I knew. Good contrast, does not require cell connection. (Reasons I disliked other model.) I like the state, city, street, number method of inputting information.

Clear directions are given with ample warnings, good GPS for the money.

This product works as even better the the Tom Tom we had that is 5 years old. quick response to changes accurate routes and easy to use, what more could a person want for $99.

Tom Tom works great. Nice large screen. Easy to set destinations.
