Great TV…until it wasn’t. I’ve had it for less than 2 months and it just stopped working. It has vertical lines on the display that completely make the TV unusable. Don’t buy this TV. Ever.

I Absolutely Love My New 75’ 4K Toshiba Fire TV . I’ve been wanting to get a 75 inch TV since I got my Sony PS5 2 years ago …. I wanted a quality TV but in the $1,000.00 price range … I will no longer spend $3,000.00 on a TV since now a days they only last or become outdated about ever 7 years … So the Top of line Sony & LG were out of my Budget …. But I wanted a Big Quality Smart TV that’s good for Gaming & Watching Football in 4K …. And I saw this TV at Best Buy and was Amazed by how good it looked, Love the Smart Fire TV system and The Price … No This TV does not cost $900-1,100 for comparable TCL or Hisense … I got it for the Amazing Price of $530 …. I could not pass up a Quality Big Screen for this Price…. I’ve had the TV for 2 weeks it’s Awesome…. ( It Does not compare to a $2,000+ Sony or LG Oled ) but I think it Easily is a Best Buy Among Similar Spect Models that Run Around $1,000

TV Good - Fire TV So So

The reason I bought this Toshiba 75" 4K TV is because it was on sale at Best Buy for $529.00 and I was also interested in the built in Fire TV 4K since I have an Amazon Fire TV Account. The TV - The TV Itself is better than average. I believe it is an "edge lit" and "NOT FULL ARAY" so the picture is average to good, but not great. In my home, there is very little ambient light intrusion so the picture is decent most of the time, but best at night. But it does not compare to OLED or QLED Tv's which are much more expensive. The TV produces decent vibrance in colors, best seen in a dark room, but it does not produce good blacks. At best the Black is a mildly backlit grey. You will notice this mostly when playing a movie in LETTER BOX format where you can see the blank upper and lower part of the TV and they are a dull grey but not black. NOTE: A friend of mine also bought this TV and in their home they have lots of Ambient light during the day which does not make for a good picture where you can discern the details in scenes that are not brightly lit. At night, they get the best picture but during the day its average to poor due to poor black and poor contrast. Assembly and Set Up were pretty straight forward. The only gripe I had was the Coaxial input for your VHF Antenna or Cable input is side ways with little room between Coax and back of TV, instead of straight out, which make screwing in the Coax cable a bit of a challenge. Overall I would give the TV 3.5 our of 5 stars, though I think my friend with the ambient light living room would score less. The Fire TV 4K - There is a convenience of being able to incorporate the scanning of all your Antenna channels within the Fire TV Menu along with all of the other App provided channels so that you don't have to switch INPUTS to the VHF Antenna Input as required in most TVs, so all of your channels are in one place. The Fire TV Remote can also be set to control your Sound Bar or Surround Sound system so you only need to use one remote. I have a 7.1 Surround Sound System and the Fire TV Remote turns the entire system on and off. I turn the TV Speaker OFF (from within the TV Menu) and use my 7.1 Surround Sound Exclusively which is connected via an OPTICAL Sound Cable. NOTE: Best to Select "Pass Through" option when using Surround Sound in the Audio Menu for Best Sound Quality. This allows your Surround Sound Tuner or Sound Bar to do its job, while using your TV essentially as a monitor for the Video only. The main gripe I have with the Fire TV Set Up is that when you are switching to Antenna Channels, it does not always load the sound. You have to switch to another channel and then switch back, sometimes repeatedly to get the sound to load. This is not from a lose cable (I checked all of that), and based on internet research this is an issue affecting many people. This does not occur all the time, perhaps 5% of the time, but often enough to make it frustrating especially when switching between antenna channels such as when you are flipping back and forth between Football Games and you can't get the sound to load. On fewer occasions, it will not load the picture or the sound and you have to switch to another channel and then back again to solve, but this is rarer. Another item of note is that since there are no numeric buttons on the Fire TV Remote, you can not input a numeric channel. You either have to scroll to your channel or use the voice command or Alexa. The reason this can be frustrating is by the time you are finished scanning in your "Over the Air available VHF Antenna Channels" and the Free channels available through Freevee, Pluto, Prime, Tubi, Xumo, Fire, Haystack News, Red Bull, and Local Now, you end up with about 600-700 free channels so that can be a lot of scrolling. NOTE: If you connect your Sound Bar or Surround Sound system using Bluetooth or Wifi instead of an OPTICAL Sound Cable, you also have the added frustration of sound delay which is reminiscent of old Marshall Arts movies. You can go through the TV Menu and adjust the delay to match the picture, but since this glitch is dynamic and different for each channel, it can be frustrating to continuously adjust the delay. If you can use a direct cable connection such as OPTICAL Sound Cable, this is not an issue. I would rate the Fire TV 4K as 2.5 Stars out of 5 due to this glitch which happens enough to make it quite a frustration. I Selected that I would recommend this item but only if you are on a budget and will use this TV in a dark room, otherwise its not worth it.

Have had this tv now for just over a month and couldn't be happier with it. Delivery was great. Setup was great. For this price point, I would buy another one. Picture is great, startup time is great. Even though the refresh is only 60, the scaling they use makes it look like the 120's that we have. We have lots of tv's in the house from various manufacturers and this one so far is the best picture and easiest to use. Would highly recommend.

Replaced my 5 year old LG

My 65 in LG finally gave up after 5 years. Cost less to replace it the repair it. While Toshiba isn't as big a name brand as others, thr store manager thought it would have a slightly better picture. I got it home and fired it up. I was not disappointed. Picture is great. Sounds louder but we replaced our carpet with wood laminate flooring so the acoustics of the room changed. I've had ZERO problems with it. I do recommend buying the 5yr warrsnty on a large TV. I have a large living room and live the 75 inch screen. I would absolutely buy again and highly recommend it if you're looking for a large TV on a budget.

    Almost Returned This!!!

This set has a picture, Fire TV interface and built in speakers that are all amazing. Why did I almost return it? Tech Support could not answer basic instructions for audio enhancements. I have an elderly father that needs help hearing. For that reason, I needed the ability to use a headset (so my father could crank up the volume) and the TV built in speakers (so I could listen at a reasonable level) at the same time. The Tech Bot was useless. It took 2 days to finally get a live agent only to be told this set was not capable of this function. On the 3rd day I found a non-Bluetooth speaker with its own transmitter/charging base. Instructions stated to have both TV speakers and Headphones at the same time I needed to use the optical connection cable. Then, and this is where tech failed me, I needed to go to the Fire TV home, scroll right to SETTINGS and then select Sound and Devices. Once there, I found the ability to switch from Dolby Sound to RCM mode. So easy! Why couldn't tech support tell me that? In the end, I have an amazing television, with stunning picture and a great Fire TV experience. As to others saying the remote was lacking...I found it to be super! This set and its features have given me the ability to go from 4 remotes down to 2! So much easier!

I've had this TV for approximately 3-weeks now, I initially purchased the Insignia 75-inch because it was cheaper. I liked the Insignia but it looked cheap with thick plastic bezels and the depth was quite big as well, I returned it because I didn't like the looks of all the plastic aesthetically. I then purchased the Toshiba and was astonished by the picture quality and the design of the TV itself with VERY slim bezels, it is a very good looking TV aesthetically and the picture quality is just phenomenal, I have a 86-inch LG in the living room I paid $3500 for and it rivals the picture quality of the LG. The Toshiba also had Fire TV installed which gives you a hundred different choices of movies on the homepage, just amazing!!!!! The Toshiba is a must buy if in the market, you will NOT be disappointed, I can guarantee that and as a techy and audiophile I don't guarantee often!

Buy the extended warranty. Light leaks around edge

I am an older consumer and remember in the 60's when my uncle got one of the first color TV's. That was a big deal back then, I have a had many in my life and what I have come to learn after my $1200 Sony Bravia LED's just blew after 3 years and no warranty is that TV's have become disposable and not repairable. I settled on this Toshiba as it was once a leading Japanese made product. Only to find , the brand has been purchased by Hisense. (CHINA). I initially purchased the 65" model and returned it for this 75". My only complaint is the screen has some light "leaking" around the outside of the screen. It can only be seen when viewing a black background or when watching a movie with the black bars on the top and bottom. Not that big of a deal. I reviewed many pics in reviews with dark shots posted and many customers did not even notice or complain about this inherent issue and gave the TV - 5 stars. I DID, and that's the only reason for 4 stars. Overall, bright picture, web interface and overall experience. Fire TV is very user friendly. I have until the end of January to return this but will a Samsung or LG be any better at this price point ? As I started this review, I have learned to not spend too much on a disposable TV. I bought the 5 year extended warranty this time, so for $116/year all-in, this is a good option . Let's hope GEEK SQUAD is as good as they claim to be if this proves a mistake

Great product at a reasonable price point. Having the Fire TV built in is great to reduce the number of remotes. The picture is good but like most TV's it has the Auto smoothing feature on by default so it looks like a soap opera when you first use it. turn it off and its a lot better. All in all its a great buy.

Toshiba 75" 75C350KU LED 4K UHD Fire TV

Bought the Toshiba 75" C350 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV (75C350KU) for $499.99 on December 18th from Best Buy. I set the delivery for 12/24 so that I could find the television in a store and cancel if it did not meet expectations. Even the stores that stocked this set did not have it on display, so this review is after having the television in my home for a week. I was very impressed with the packaging. The box comes in two pieces -- a short base and a tall 'cover' held together with four plastic clips which can be reused if the set is returned. The set was held firmly in the middle of the box by Styrofoam packaging with an air filled 'pillow' and cardboard protection between the screen and the box. Hard plastic strips protected the screen from careless handholds. A plastic sheet that covered the screen was easily removed without leaving any kind of residue. Out of the box, no dead pixels, no physical damage, and nothing missing. Good start. I attached the stand, plugged in power, and powered on the set. Once I logged in to Amazon, I could access my antenna via an Amazon Recast -- wirelessly. Upscaling on this set is outstanding. SD looks great. From the westerns of the 50s and 60s to the dramas of the 80s and 90s to modern HD programming, everything is clear and properly sized/scaled. Then I plugged the TV into my antenna. The picture quality was better than through the Recast. UI was still Fire TV. For television, I can choose a grid style guide that integrates antenna and streaming. Top of the screen is a description of the selected show. I like that. So, I plugged in a TiVo. The TiVo autoscales to 1080p. It looked almost as good as the antenna. Good enough for me to choose the TiVo input over the antenna input...sometimes. New Year's Eve, I was hopping among inputs watching a New Year's Celebration and the 1080i programming looked great via the Recast, the TiVo, and straight from the antenna. For the most part, I am watching the antenna plus streaming media vie the Fire TV grid style guide. Audio is very good. There are two 10w speakers. I'm not an audiophile, but they sound fine to me. My desk is on the same wall as the television in my bedroom. From my desk, the viewing angle is probably around 160 degrees. The viewing angle of this television is excellent. Not as bright as head on, but very watchable. The remote resembles a Fire TV remote. It is about half an inch longer. There are four additional buttons for TV control -- channel up/down, guide, recents, and quick settings. There are also four additional buttons for Prime, Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu. The remote contains a mic and the TV is Alexa enabled. There are four HDMI ports, one USB port, one LAN/Ethernet port, one digital audio out port, one RF input (antenna), one headphone out, and one AV input. Movies, music, and pictures can be played off a device attached to the USB port. The port powers drives that require up to 500mA. I am using the port to power a Roku that requires 5V/1A. The TV has a Native refresh rate of 60Hz with a Motion Rate of 120Hz. I did not experience motion blur watching basketball or football. Hockey will be the ultimate test. Documentation is less than sparse and completely unnecessary. Complete specs are available on the Toshiba web site. If this television proves to be durable, it was a steal for $500.

Nice picture, the black is a nice black not a lighter shade of black. This helps to really bring out the nice vivid colors. 4K movies looks really really good, but what's nice is regular shows look amazing too. Being a Smart TV makes it nice when you can tell Alexa to turn on the TV. You can voice search for shows or movies. Toshiba has a great tradition when it comes to electronics. 75" has me feeling I'm at the movie theater, wife and I sit back eating out popcorn, You don't have to sit directly in front of the TV to see all the show, if you sit off to the side you still get the great picture of the whole show, that's what make Toshiba a great TV.

We've only had the TV for a few weeks, so I can’t speak yet in its longevity; but we love it so far! The built in fire stick is so convenient and was a selling point for us. The TV is large enough to be awkward to carry by yourself, but is light and was not difficult for my husband to mount. I will note we are hooked up through a sound system and do not use the internal speakers, so I can’t speak to how it sounds on its own. The quality so far is great!
