Had to purchase this when my laptop crashed, so Geek Squad could do a full back up. It worked great, and when they re-loaded my laptop everything was there.

This hard drive held all of my information once my internal hard drive crashed. The data recovery team was able to get everything as a level 2 recovery.

I needed to back up thousands of high rez photos when my hard drive said it was full...so I moved 300+ Gigs to the Toshiba and then reformatted my internal drive and then moved everything back on to the internal drive....it took a few hours...mostly because I don't have USB 3.0. Nice small size like a Smart phone and powered by the USB..so only one cord needed, very very cool.

When my computer crashed I brought it to the Geek Squad and they took all of my data and put it on this hard drive. I didn't lose all of my info!

Great item, very lightweight and very thin , easy to carry around.

This product is easy to install and has no problems for the 2 months I have owned it. Uses little resources and just tell it when and what time to back up and it does it all by itself. I checked on it the first couple of weeks and no problem. You can set to backup as frequently as you want. I have mine set for once a week. Product is small and invisible.

I purchased this drive to back up my PC and it worked. I didn't use the software that came with the unit and instead used the Windows backup system instead. Runs great with USB 3.

Toshiba makes great portable hard drives, bottom line. I have several of these drives and have never had a failure even with abusive handling.

This has been a great back up for making sure all files on the computer will not be lost if something happens to the computer hard drive.

The sales person did a awsome job helping me pick out what I wanted then helped me set everything up I am very pleased with the process .

Upon connecting this HDD to my Desktop, I was shocked to see all the bloatware that was preinstalled on it. Other than that, it's been functional and has met my expectations.

This is my first time using an external hard drive. So far it is working great and keeping my files safe. Well pleased. A good value too.
