Was lured to store with add showing similar model with free cloud storage. That was not available in the store. This is fine, but of course the proof is in the longevity, which is hard to predict (that's why I wanted the cloud storage).

This HD did not work when I bought it, I had no choice but to return it back to store and have it replaced with a WD hard drive. Pity, because it looks really nice and classy.

Used it to back up documents and pictures. Drive failed after 6 months. Data recovery estimates were several thousand dollars. Lost lots of valuable files

This USB 3.0 hard drive is pretty fast, and it's ultra compatible. The included software leaves a little to be desired, but the small size and portability of the unit more than make up for it. Also, it came at a really good price.

I was looking for a cheaper external hard drive for the mother in law and this worked great for what I needed. Didn't need to spend a lot of money and it can store everything I want

The external hard drive is easy to use, a little bit of work to access the files saved by the Geek Squad. Probably easier to use if and when I save files myself.

The computer I bought I have had nothing but trouble with it I have had it into the geek squad at least every 2 to 3 months. They fix it then something else goes wrong with it I feel like I got a lemon

I needed a small, portable drive for backup purposes and this fit the bill perfectly. For a smaller drive write speeds are pretty snappy as well. Great drive!

Either sub cord or the output on device has an issue with being lose or broken so I have to mic it around until the computer recognizes it and then if I move it it's like it is inplugged

It has given me peace of mind knowing if I lose the hard drive on my computer, at least I'll have my pictures and info saved on the external hard drive.

well built, easily fits in pant pocket, runs quietly. different colored lights were a nice touch: blue running usb 3.0 and white running usb 2.0

Only purchased this be caused I needed it to back up my computer while getting repairs from Geek Squad. Turns out I didn't need it! Money wasted!

Not much to say, I haven't had any problems with it so if the specs match what your looking for in an external hard drive this is an option.

I like the unit to give external storage that isn't in a cloud. I feel that there is more security in terms of avoiding an outside intrusion.

Portable drive was just what I needed to back up an HP Desktop PC. The old backup drive was only 75GB and could no longer do the backups.

great to have so you don't take a risk of losing any of your important information, well worth it as some info is not replaceable.

I needed to have my computer repaired and they downloaded my files to this external drive and uploaded it to the computer after repair. the system is very good.

this is a great product. The only downfall is it is powered by USB but that is also its greatest benefit. No extra wires.

Seems to work great at what I need it for, which is to back up photos and documents. about the same thickness as an iPhone, 1/2 inch wider but a 1/2 shorter.

This external drive works great to backup files from laptops and expand storage capabilities.......Great price also!!!!
