tinny sound and lack of stereo separation,

It does play both media but the sound is tinny from the small speakers and not sure the tape player is that good, but it does allow us to listen to the old tapes we have laying about, reasonably good value it you are not looking for HiFi..

I can listen to cassettes again

Good quality for a reasonable price

I like the fact that it can run on batteries if the power goes out (which happens a lot in California!) It has a remote too.

Great value for a Boombox

Many of the new vehicles don't have a CD player, or even cassette. I have many good CDs, and now I'm very happy that I'll be able to listen to them now! Good price also...
