I've had this for a little over a year and it catastrophically failed. Before it failed I was very happy with it. Easy to use controls, simple menu, good quality sound and picture. It's possible that this failure was a fluke but I don't think I'll be buying another Toshiba to replace it.

Item fits my needs to play old vcrs and favorite dvds in my office so I don't distrub the main tv

This is a good replacement for old VHS players with the added bonus of a dvd. Great for those that won't come out of the '80's.

I had been looking for a nice dual head DVD/vhs player and found this one. I normally go with Samsung but decided on this toshiba brand and happy I did. The picture is beautiful and no problem with either head. Really recommend it!

We lost TV, VCR, and satellite receiver in recent storm. This Video player is a great replacement. The cost was very reasonable for VCR and DVD player. It was easy to hook up and plays with great sound and picture.

Good machine so you do not need two things plugged in. We use the vhs for the little ones to watch disney movies. cheaper at 1.50 each than the dvds and the kids do not care.

I'm enjoying my Toshiba DVD player very much. My other DVD player would not play all the DVD's I purchased, only certain ones. I've been able to count on this machine and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable DVD/VCR player. Very Satisfied..

Have only used for VHS tape viewing and so far it has performed okay. Seem to have trouble with the TRACKING function but with practice I may get this part.

i bought for my mother who still wants to tape her "shows" on dvr. You wouldn't think this would be so hard to find so I am glad that I did. and it works great!!

this is a real nice set up with dvd and vcr together. I am able to see my old movies with my family and they enjoy it! Tracking on this device makes it nice to be able to make the picture more clear.

I like that I can use VHS or DVDs in it. It's the best of both worlds!

for those users who still have their collection of VCR tapes and DVD disc, has the basic recording and playback. Does not have a RF connector, using a 3 wired RCA connection to antenna. Remote control layout poor, just a bunch of buttons in a grid, seen better designs. Lightweight, compared to my previous one. Time will tell how long this will last. This was purchase to replace a VCR/DVD combo which no longer works.

I bought this for my daughter to play all our old vhs tapes. It was a good value for the cost, had good reviews online and was very easy to set up.
