Bought for a meeting where I had a speaker who needed to show a DVD and a VHS. More cost effective to buy this combo than individual components since the VHS by itself was over $200. I am reserving full judgement on the product due to bad experiences with previous combo machines. I would only recommend if someone has to have a VHS because it is cheaper than a stand alone VHS.

I like this product. I haven't had much chance to use it lately, but from what I've seen, it does the job quite well.

The machine replaced an older model that finally died. The Toshiba model presents a better picture and is very easy to use once it was installed.

These days there are very few TV/VCR units available, this one has all the features needed and was not too expensive though not really cheap. Good if you still need to play VHS tapes.

My husband loves this DVD player. Easy to hook up and has a great picture.

This was a gift for my grandfather and he needed something easy to use and easy to understand. This works great!

bought this for my brother who is not great at hooking things up. I had it installed in a matter of a couple of minutes, showed him how to use it & he loves it! I've always thought Toshiba was a good product.

The first player I purchased ate the VHS videotapes- the second player I exchanged it with works just fine functions well and easy to use. Staff made experience very easy.

It's nice to have a car to watch old movies and a DVDs player in one unit!

We had an issue w/ connectivity to the tv. Calling customer service was a 20 minute waste of time. The problem is customer service personnel speak but don't understand English. You try and explain the issue and you know by their response they're reading from a screen. We ended up taking pictures of the back of the dvr/vhs player and our tv, went back to Best Buy and in less than 2 minutes got our problem solved. Won't call customer service ever again.

I recommend it to every. It has a great picture and you have both in one, vcr and dvd player. Saves you space.
