Love the screen on this thing. The keyboard wasn't to my liking though. Fast. Good build.

Light weight. WINDOWS 8 has some bugs that need to be worked out still. Over all this is a good laptop. GOOD price. GOOD screen quality.

This is a really good laptop. Needs 8GB RAM instead of the 6GB it comes with and the touchscreen would have been a better choice. For Web and Schoolwork, it does the job well. Hard disk is a little slow and would have benefited with a hybrid SSD. Monitor is clear and crisp. Colors are good. Usually can't go wrong with Toshiba laptops. Overall, this is a good laptop for the price point.

Have had this unit for 4 weeks. Overall good basic computer, lightweight, relatively thin and easy to slip in my backpack for college. Unable to play DVDs on an optical drive (which works with my other laptop). Plan on calling tech support for this problem. Otherwise no other problems so far.

Bought this for our daughter , she loves the laptop incredibly fast, easy to use and fits perfectly plus the salesman was awesome.

I have been using this over a month now, and I am totally satisfied with my purchase. Laptop built quality is great and matches $700-$1000 laptops in terms of looks. Performance is good too with the i5 chip and 6 GB RAM. I am also impressed with the sound quality.

Thin light weight overall a great machine. Light up key board is a nice touch.

Looked at all the other new 5th gen Intel laptops in this price range and they all run single channel memory which hurts performance with any kind of gaming or demanding applications by 10-20% This and the $699 version with touchscreen both run dual channel memory! Up-gradable ram up to 16gb and the HD is very easy to upgrade. Best bang for the buck.

Laptop is light, small and mobile. Only real issue is the touch pad's poor design. Heard others talk about this problem also. Don't think it's just a few. The design is such that if you press on the outside of the left or right click areas on the touch pad - it can stay stuck in the down-pressed position. Then it stays stuck until you press it more of the middle part of the touch pad a few times. It's irritating enough to not want to use the touch pad - but when on the go - that's not always an option. Defeats the purpose of such a light, mobile laptop. Otherwise, it runs great. Keyboard is well built, screen is bright.

I bought this computer with office work and multitasking in mind. It does well with both. Running multiple programs, including those with webconferencing, has not been a problem. The battery life is very good.

This is really a great looking laptop. Like to size and weight. Before had used a 17' and wanted to get a smaller one and this has been the perfect fit. Definitely a learning curve for me to learn how to use it and get comfortable with it but now seems to be going smoothly.

Started out happy. Great lighted keyboard super light. Started locking up. Can't pull the battery Geek squad is great though.

I bought this computer for my son as a graduation present. He enjoys it, great HD graphics, fast, handles every task he completes without error. So far, so good.

The hardest thing about my "new" laptop is figuring out Windows 8. Thank God for 10 coming at the end of the month!! The laptop itself is fantastic. It's perfect for whatever I need to get done on it. Easy to use and it's pretty too! Oh and super fast processing too!

I needed a laptop immediately for school since my HP was 8 years old. Definitely is lightweight, thin, color is a plus but love it way better than my old laptop. The speed is fast & has good memory storage. The volume is loud & clear. Picture quality is awesome too. I purchased it on sale for $400 on deal of the day & was very pleased.

Good computer so far, still learning widows 8. Do wish options were available to keep old windows version. Do have an issue with screen fluttering sometimes when on internet, stops when you click another website.

Great laptop. Fairly speedy for surfing the web, but just a tad slow for game play. Plenty of storage on hard drive. Only draw back that I have is no DVD drive.

I got this for a great price 399.00. Does what I need. Only thing that worries me is that the adapter gets very hot. Not sure if that's normal though.

Convenient size, decent memory capacity, excellent performance - if you are "on the go" and need a light weight but power laptop, this is the one for you. Easy setup, easy use, fast performance, solid memory size, light - all in all a great laptop.

I bought this computer because of the value you get with the processor, size of hard drive, and HD screen. My wife uses it to store all her movies, music, and photos and it works great.
