Can't beat the price. This laptop is good for basic computing like web surfing, streaming, and things that don't required heavy cpu power. Not recommended for heavy multimedia used.

We use this laptop for vlogging. We had to add a video editor as it did not come with it. The touchpad is not very receptive to your finger sometimes. Other than that it seems to be good.

Good computer for my son. I love the 10 key pad, but, he doesn't use it much. It is a heavy laptop and slower startup than I am use to.

This laptop is very nice and sleek. the only complaint is the finger mouse pad doesn't flow that great, but I purchased a wireless mouse and have no complaints about anything else.

After the I initial set up of widoes 10, I found that the touch pad didn't work. After an hour on the phone with Toshiba I got it working properly and it is a good little computer

Even though It is not an expensive Laptop it does work nicely. It is a little slow if you try to use it to play games, even web based games. But over all it's been working fine.

I am not a "gamer" although my kids do play some... I bought this for them to use for school and recreation. We have four laptops and this has been one of the best to date. We are pleased with its speed and performance based on what we paid. It is not a $1000 laptop, so if that is what you want buy a $1000 laptop. My family all wants their own computer and we are hard on mobile electronics so I did not want to spend >$400. This was well under that price and we are very happy with the product.

This is good for a student or young child who needs a computer for school. It's not the best laptop I have used, but certainly not the worst. The setup was simple and it is very easy to use. However, the quality definitely shows for $279.00. I ended up giving it to my daughter for her birthday. Overall it works for what I paid for it.

Good spec's for the price. Been using it for 2 months with no problems. Battery life is ok not great. Overall I use it for work, multiple windows open and no lag.

The computer is quick and has plenty of ram. The 1 terabytes of hard drive space is a huge plus as well.

I bought this computer, got it home and just trying to surf the web was a chore. Browser kept freezing up. Computer was super slow trying to do anything else. Even getting the cursor to move is a hit and miss. So I brought it back figuring I'd got a lemon. I traded it back for one of the same model (I liked the fact that it's got a 1T drive for storage). My mistake. Unfortunately, I couldn't get back to Best Buy in the 14 day return period, so I'm stuck with this piece of junk. Slow, always freezing up, cursor moves erratically. Stay away! Now, let's see if I can even post this, as my cursor has disappeared once again! Here we go, three minutes later and I can move it again. Grrrrrrr.

We bought this laptop for my middle school daughter. She uses it mainly for school work and games. It has been fantastic so far.

I gave this to my teenage daughter. I have heard no complaints so that speaks for itself. It was quite a value for the money.

I needed an economic laptop for some of my contracted staff and this fit the bill. For $300 you could do much worse.

Cheap, effective, gets the job done. Cheaply built but can take a beating

I purchased this laptop for school so I currently haven't used it for my online classes just yet. I've only done basic web browsing, facebook, google, movie streaming, etc. I have noticed a few times that the internet feed drops and that seems to happen more when the battery reaches around 30%. I haven't experienced any issues with the mousepad as I've read on many reviews. Web browsing is slightly on the slower side, not something for a gamer.

I purchased this Toshiba for my 10-year old son. Like many boys, he is rough and tough and don't handle things as delicate as I would like. He's had this laptop for months now and it has withstood the knocks and bumps that he has inflicted on it. The salesperson told me that this laptop casing would protect the day-to-day use of the lap-top and she was right.

This is a great value, if you are looking for a system to meet your everyday needs then this is it.

Let's me work from home, check email, watch movies, browse internet, no issues. Good laptop.
