It’s very good to have. If you’re going to use it make sure that you’re going to use it if you’re buying Apple products from Best Buy on a regular basis it’s definitely a plus because you get AppleCare plus included in your toll tech membership and if you get one Apple product that has a 99, or 199 product than that helps! Or if you’re going to have any installations!

This might seem expensive when you first look at it, but for me it has been so worth it.
I'm not real tech savvy and it confuses me, so it's nice to be able to contact a Technician on the Geek Squad to get help. But then I find that I also get assistance & benefits with purchases & discounts when I am looking for items, even appliances; & if I need Home Delivery, which usually costs me an extra arm since I don't live within the 20 mile delivery radius that most places require, Total Tech Support usually has me covered.

I love my Geek Squad technicians, I cannot say enough about how professional the GS Technicians are as they always strive to do a great job for their customers. When seeking technical support it is important to know who is being given access to the information on our electronic devices. When working with the Geek Squad it is peace of mind that is gained more than anything and it helps that the tech support team is knowledgeable about what they work on for the customers. Thank you GS tech support.

For the most part, I useTotal Tech Support services for the laptops in my household. I rarely have issues, but when I do, the in-store Geeks are consistently well-educated, professional, patient, and will solve the problem. Online chat and internet services are good. I have had difficulty understanding foreign accents and would prefer English as one’s primary language. Wait time for a specialist has increased over the years. Total Tech Support has been helpful, otherwise, when needing advise and installation of a sound system. Best Buy stood behind a product that did not work out and replaced it with a more suitable model.

Have been pleased with Total Tech support .
Usually interact with the Geek Squat in store (VT) but it is sometimes difficult to get a reservation in a timely manner due to them being closet Best Buy. The other store in upper New York was closed about a year ago
The one occasion I contacted the them via their "chat" recently I was also very pleased with their assistance to resolve the problem.

The Total Tech plan has been a lifesaver for my family this past year. We have had three different laptops and two desktop computers in for work and updates. We have always received great help from the Geek Squad and the repairs are usually done pretty quickly. (In one case, they were done overnight!) It's been a little hard to get devices in now that they only do it by appointment. Right now, if you can get a slot, they are booking two weeks out at my store. I typically don't have two weeks-plus to wait when I need help with my laptop, so I'm hoping wait and service times go back to normal soon.

Total Tech support is just what it says. They will assist with that which is best for your situation. I was frustrated with my laptop as the hard drive had corrupted some of my excel files. I was ready to purchase a new laptop. Total tech said, 'you don't need a new laptop'. What? yes they turned my old lap top into a super laptop by converting or changing out the old hard drive for a solid state operating system. Saved me big money and I am amazed how fast my new old laptop is. Paid for the service for years with just one visit. Thank you Best Buy!

I have used the Total Tech Support many times since purchasing.
There are several computers in the home.
I am totally satisfied with Total Tech Support. Has saved much stress usually associated with computer problems.
They have helped with virus removal, windows not updating, 'storage full', instructions, date transfer, anti-virus program not working, and quarterly check of total computer function.
Total Tech covers things beyond the computers that I have not used. Coverage on the computers alone is worth it. Have renewed another year and will continue to do so.

I have been a Total Tech member I think since it started. It is one of the best things I have done. It totally pays for itself! I have had multiple TVs mounted in my house, dryer repaired, computer repaired, phone covers replaced free that had cracked, and a new refrigerator that was just delivered with free haul away. Everything was discounted because I am a Total Tech Support Member. The list is extensive that is available for Total Tech membersI love Best Buy! I love their products but I love their service the best!!

this is the second time but I have the Best Buy membership and it pays for itself. I am able to get the help. I need in store to learn about the products that I am purchasing as well as the professional teaching that I can apply at home. I also get two years warranty on my products it pays for itself right away.

I've always been very satisfied with the Geek Squad tech support. I wish I had the option of just purchasing only tech support for the $100 instead of having to also include additional money for other support that I do not need. I also appreciate the fact that I can make an appointment to sit with a tech person, one-on-one to solve my problem with my HP laptop and/or ipad or tablet. I understand that appointments are now scheduled for 15 minutes, but I always need longer time because I typically have several questions and do not want to be cut off.

I have been a Total Tech member for a few years now and really enjoy having that peace of mind that I can call someone when I need technical assistance on several devices. Most of the time the Reps are able to assist over the phone, but I have also made appointments and had to leave my laptop for service. Depending on timing (avoid back to school timeframe) service is usually pretty quick. The communication on status is usually timely and ready when promised.

This has been hit or miss. Sometimes get someone I can barely understand sometimes it's very easy. Did have one Foreign Tech that flat out lied saying they printed a test sheet on my printer and it was good when nothing printed at all. Interestingly enough I wasn't able to file a complaint at the time. My connection suddenly had difficulties. Mostly this has been a good thing or I wouldn't put up with the bad times.

Best Buy Total Tech Geek Squad protection is a must have! I have had nothing but great experiences with the Total Tech Greek Squad. The tech staff has always been polite and the benefits are great. I have had them setup several desktops and laptops are the past few years. They have also "wiped" and reset several devices, as well as trouble shoit a few things. It is very easy to schedule appointments and i have even been able to stop in without an appointment and they have been able to get me in within an hour.

Best $$ spent --- I am a tech challenged baby boomer and the service provided is a life saver. Additionally, I have saved so much $$ that it more than pays for itself. I have purchased many open box items and this gives me security if anything goes wrong. I have had a whole lap top replaced after mine took a tumble down stairs and was destroyed. I have purchased appliance and the installation and warranty discount more than paid for the geek squad. This really an outstanding service.

They have been great help. Just like they say, they help you with things you didn't buy from there. And the installation prices there's some breaks some really good breaks with items purchased there. I haven't actually tried the installation services other than a very large tv. It looks great. The technician clean up the mess. Programmed it. Answered any questions we had. Be careful there's an automatic renewal just in case you need to beware

I've had a Geek Squad service contract for several years and moved to Total Tech Support last year (2021). I use the Geek Squad regularly for everything from solving problems to setting up my new computer and they do great work fast. I am most impressed by what they are able to do remotely so I don't have to make a trip to the store. Always a pleasure to work with the Geek

This is what I call a very good yearly insurance policy. I have used the Geek Squad agents a handful of times and they usually solve my problem, answer my questions, or put my mind at ease. When I have questions about software or laptop related items, I never hesitate to call them. I feel very confident with them. In fact, at the time of this review there are two items that are causing me confusion on my laptop and I will not hesitate to pick up the phone and call them. I also like that the agents are easy to understand. I am very happy with the service and support.

Geek Squad help is great. Data swap/Computer startup and tune-ups/virus removal are worth it.
We also used it for car stereo and remote starter install.
But the in-home services are expensive and over-hyped. Installers have sucked for us so far. They complained about having to wear masks because of Covid. And we ended up paying a lot of extra $$ for "required upgrades" on our dishwasher install. We were at his mercy. Pay him over and above the the TOTAL-TECH advertised installation cost, Install it myself to the existing outlet. Or get somebody else to do it and have a new, uninstalled dishwasher sitting in my kitchen. And that was after the 1st machine was delivered smashed to hell. Our gas dryer install was done without extra cost. But they also bitched about having to wear masks due to Covid. And when i asked installer if he was going to run a test cycle before he left. He said "No were just going to hook it up and leave... Of course we're going to test it!". I don't need the sarcasm. I was asking because i could pretty much tell he didn't like his job and wanted do it as quickly as possible so he could take his mask off. Not impressed with any of the home services we have gotten so far.
Also. There was a time when, during Covid, In store and in home services were not even available. So i was paying for tech/delivery/install services that could NOT be rendered. I had to pick up appliances in the parking lot. Deliver/install new/remove old ones myself. Even though i was paying for a plan to help me with that. Not impressed and we will most likely be discontinuing this coverage when it is time for renewall

When I first signed up for the Tech Support I was concerned that I was paying for something that I didn't necessarily need. The Geek Squad helped me understand my computer better at that time though. However, since I renewed it this year, I have not been able to use it at all because of the Covid-19 problems in dealing with retail businesses. I hope to get to see the Geek Squad soon though. I would like for Best Buy to extend my membership in the Total Tech Support since so much time was lost on being able to take my computer in this year. That would be nice!
