Supports TV and other devices mounted on with the TV on a wall mount. This works well and hides nicely on the shelf above the wall mounted TV.

I have had no issues with this unit. It works wonderfully and is easy to setup on a PC or MAC (I own both). I have it in my bedroom and my Roku 3 hardwired into it and it works wonderfully allowing me to stream movies near flawlessly. I have had it running with no reboots for several months now. The powerline pass-through is a bonus as well. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone.

The Easiest Way to Expand Your Network

This is a review of a free product received from TP-LINK as part of the review program. I've used PowerLine Adapters before, but they always presented 2 problems, only 1 connection (requiring a switch) & speed. That's why I was excited to check out the TLPA8030PKIT! Once again TP-LINK delivers a solution to all issues in 1 package! Not only does the 3 Ethernet ports eliminate the need for a switch, it delivers a blazing 1Gbps too! I was able to connect my router & MagicJack on one end, I connected my Xbox One, Vizio UHD Smart TV & Raspberry Pi 3 (or any other PC) up in my room on the other end. The performance is considerably faster than doing all that over WiFi. This solution is literally as easy as "done & done, now let's play!".

This is a review of a free product received from TP-LINK as part of the review program. I set used to this to create a hardwired Ethernet connection in my garage for use with a Roku streaming box. the initial setup was very straight forward and plug and play. I encountered no issues whatsoever during the the entire process. I am now streaming HD content in my garage with no buffering or quality issues. This will be great for the summer. Since there are 3 ports i looked up a laptop to one of the remaining ports and tested the functionality and saw no issues at all. The only negative I can think of is the fact that is does cover up one of your outlets but the pass-through port is a fair trade off in my opinion.

    Review your electrical layout first

The product works but has limitations due to your electrical layout. This means the electrical circuit that will be used between the source and destination location. This will impact the outcome of the product. In my case, I have the 3-port version. I was only able to get only one port working. When I attach the second port, the first connection drops and nothing works. I need to do some further testing and have open a support ticket. I used other products with the single port version without problems. Please take the time to find out how your house is wired because Powerline products have their limitation. When they work, they are fine. I would recommend the single port version. I have not used the dual port version. I maybe returning this product for that version.

      Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to review our Powerline Kit.

Due to the symptoms described, we recommend ensuring that both adapters are plugged directly into wall outlets; no surge protectors or power strips as these will interrupt the Powerline signal.

Our Support Team is also available and we're always happy to help. Please feel free to contact us anytime using the information below and we'll gladly assist you.

We thank you again for your feedback and hope you'll continue to consider TP-Link for your future network needs.

      Best Regards,
