If your wifi isn't strong enough in certain parts of your house these PowerLine Adapters may be your answer. The device you want to connect must have an ethernet port. One adapter plugs via ethernet into your router and then into the wall. The other adapter plugs into a wall outlet near the unit you want to connect again using ethernet. The adapters use your house wiring to connect together and the connection is like plugging directly into the router. Great increase in Mbps.

I bought this for my living room as a didn't want to run a 50 foot ethernet cable to my PS4. It has been very stable and I've been getting a reliable connection with no slow down of speed. I would recommend this to those that are unable to run an ethernet cable to their gaming consoles.

set up home network without wifi. powerline does it when wifi does not reach where your device is located at. nice value and works well.

Was connecting my Smart LG TV wirelessly to do web browsing with my extended Apple Extreme. It was very slow. Hooked up the power line adapters, one in in my room with the router (Apple Extreme) via Ethernet cable and the second TL-PA4020 Powerline adaptor with my Apple Extreme extended located by my LG TV. Connected Ethernet cable from AE Extended to Powerline adapter and a second Ethernet cable from TL-PA4020 to the Ethernet port of TV. Speed greatly increased accessing the web on LG TV.

My wifi was painfully slow a few rooms away from the router. It used to take minutes for a page to display. After installing the powerline, I'm getting close to my normal download speed, minus a few mbps. I'm writing this review while using it. It's really simple to install. Only downside is having to use a patch cable but we all know how sketchy wifi is anyway. Overall it is an excellent product and exceeds in my expectations.

Seems to work great especially for Smart TV's in other rooms. Good connection in a large ranch house.

Had problem with sporadic wifi to my basement tv for streaming. 5 minute setup, now works great.

It works and solves my connectivity issue from basement to an upstairs room through concrete. Best when units are plugged into a common circuit. These will also tell you if both are on the the same circuit. How? All lights are lit.

Extended the range of Internet to the second floor of my home. Much faster than my previous wifi.

I like how this has two ports instead of one at a good price. It was very easy to install and use. Just plug in and go!!

I tried it on an outlet that is connected same as the modem in a different room and it worked great. But it didn't work in the room I needed it in. Since the outlets don't run on same power line.

I read good reviews but I just couldn't figure out how to do it myself. I needed a teenager to come do it! Get help starting it up.

This product works well. It was not as easy to set up as I thought it would be but once I figured it out it works fine.

Our Tivo Roamio stopped seeing wifi, and Tivo support folks were useless. So I ran a 50' cable from the router to the living room but the wife was not happy. Since I'm way too lazy to drill and string ethernet, this solution seemed attractive, so I bot it. The directions really suck, so since I had gone online reviewing these devices, I plugged in #1 at the router and then #2 at the Tivo, then pressed the sync button on each in that order. Next I went into the Tivo network screen and Tivo was seeing this as ethernet. So far so good and so easy to hook up and activate. Hope it holds up and doesn't require nursing all the time as some have found. Yet others have no problems. Just to add that each unit is at an extreme end of the house so I know they're on different breakers, and probably different lines. But seems to work AOK anyway. Whew.
