Router has constant high performance, reliability, and speed. Got it for a 3600 square foot house and it covers the house sitting in a far corner room.

Beat router I've ever owned. The setup was so easy. Before this router I was getting speeds of 50mbps. After the router I'm getting past 100mbps. Which is awesome because Im paying for 100mbps.

The functionality right now is a little limited for the price. The thread radio (for home automation functionality) isn't enabled yet. The list of devices connected to your network isn't editable so many have names that make no sense. If you are used to being able to dig into settings this may disappoint but setup was simple and the my network performance has been great.

Good product, personally I prefer the Asus model better, one of the reasons is because I can pre-set the waive gesture to a defined action, like prioritizing my phone over any other device in the network for a specific amount of time.

This router is perfect for those that want a hands-off approach to their home network. Even though there is no deep menu for settings, I have never felt better about a router than this one.Google give you the ability to manage main features like Wifi prioritization, guest access, network speed tests and online device listing from your cellphone or tablet through the Google Wifi app. The Tp-Link handles other things in the background like: updating versions, radio selection, etc. Once you have everything setup, there is no need to go back into the settings unless you need to prioritize a device, perform a speed test or see what devices are attached to your network.

Extremely pleased with the recommendation of the salesman. My issue was wi-fi streaming ability to my basement. My wi-fi modem is on my 3rd floor. The increased speed & coverage is amazing

For a wireless router you just want it to work. It does. It was easy to set up and the app is very useful. It let's you see your devises and the speed of the connection. I'm pleased.

Super easy set up. When all my family is together, there are nearly 20 wireless devices going at the same time. This thing can handle ALL devices at the same time with no loss of speed.

I have used various routers in the past. I enjoyed using Apple products until recently when I switched the the onhub. Great range and easy use. I doubt I will ever go back to Apple.

I am pleasantly surprised at how much of a difference this router made after switching from our ISP provided router. We more than tripled our speeds and setup is a breeze on this thing.

Easy setup. Fast. Reliable. Expensive, but it works great. We are able to stream several devices at the same time. I think this was the easiest component setup I have ever done.

Purchased this router when I found out I would get Gigabit internet at my home. My results are mixed. It was of course super easy to setup, very similar setup to the Apple airport line if you are familiar. App driven setup, same limited options. No firewall settings or VoIP options, just standard port configs. My wireless experience has been ok. On my iPhone 7 Plus, in the same room, I get a steady 300/300, I had hoped it would be faster. Plugged in I get close to 1Gb. Wireless isn't any better in my house as I still cannot get internet in the top back room. I gave it four stars because for the normal user it is a fantastic router, but it is expensive. There are many consumer routers which are less expensive with more features.

After upgrading my router with Optimum I was still experiencing Wi-Fi dead spots at home and came in the BB store to buy a Wi-Fi Extender. The Best Buy Rep said that an extender wouldn't work and recommended this item would absolutely solve my problem. After installing at home, I had the same problem so I returned this and bought an extender (which BTW, works fine and solved the problem). Don't get me wrong, this is a fine product in all aspects. (Note: if you replace your Optimum router with this one, Optimum does not guarantee to support this or any third party router). The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is it's expensive. But if a router upgrade is what you need and this one falls within your budget, go for it.

I love in a 4000sq ft 2 story home, I have 2 college students, 1 high school student, a 2year old with a tablet and countless cell phones, laptops, streaming devices and tv's and this router is all I need! Between high speed Internet service, a great modem and this router all of the networking issues I have had in the last several years are GONE! My one complaint is the lack of a smart link button, though there was only one device that was difficult to set up die to this. I have also had compliments about its appearance, like OMG that looks so awesome, or, what!!!!??? THAT is your router!!!??? Fancy!!!!
