I am very happy with this router. The hardest part of the installation was figuring out how to open the box and get the cover off! It really helps to watch an available install video or two just to know exactly what you will be doing, but it was very easy and worked right away - no surprises. Pros: - Fast, simple install and activation. - Remote mobile app is handy. - My speeds are consistently 85-89 MB (cable provider). - Adding devices is a breeze. Cons: - Two short ribbon ethernet cables provided, if you need to use the standard round style for more distance, it is a tough fit into the unit. - Short power cord prohibits top shelf location. Finally, not sure what goes on with the magical syncing of the cell phone to router during install, but have concerns when my cell contract is up soon and I will be switching phones and provider. Cannot find information regarding this kind of change and hoping I don't have to reset the whole system to factory settings and start over!

The Google OnHub is a breeze to setup; has a very good range and is attractive too. I purchased the the TP-Link version of the Google OnHub after a couple of days of research. It looks noting like most routers and and can be placed in plain view whit most people not even noticing it. It has great range and good WiFi performance close to the edge of its signal area. It was incredibly easy to setup and manage. I'm only giving it four stars, because it's lacking a few advanced features that I needed in my network, like detailed QoS and DMZ support. Great router for 90% of all users.

I was a little leery paying 200 for this product but after using it, it has been well worth it! Very easy to install and now I don't have to worry about slow wifi when everyone in my house is using it at the same time!

the router was super easy to set up and the transfer speeds are amazing. while it will never be as good as running cat5 throughout the house, this is a great alternative

After trying several other high end routers and being completely disappointed, we tried the Hub and we couldn't be happier. Simple to set up and fantastic range! Love it!

Easy to set up, like the light on top that tells if its working and it is very nice looking. I noticed right away how it improved the performance of my TIVO.

I bought this for my 2 story house (plus basement). I currently had a Netgear routers in the basement and a second on the 2nd floor to provide full house coverage. To add 802.11ac coverage, I went with the OnHub as a single router that could later work with Google Wifi if needed. Signal is so strong on OnHub on my first floor it covers the full basement and 2nd floor without issue. The Google WiFi app was very simple to use, and I pasted in my old SSID and password into the OnHub so everything in the house easily recognized the new device. Simple, 10 minute setup.

My house has plaster walls and is like a fair-day cage. I can't get internet in most rooms. This extended the wifi further than any other router I have ever had.

13 antennas and can run 100 different items without slowing down, can set time liners for the kids usage, can set guest passes, check speeds of all items and do it all from anywhere in the world. As long as you have internet access.

Old router left dead spots in the house, where I needed multiple range extenders. I installed this one in the same place as the old one, and I haven't needed any of the extenders since.

This router replaced an old Linksys. Setup was a breeze and was all done in the Google Wifi app. The router is maintenance free, set it and forget it. Modern router design with various light colors indicating network status. NO advance features or customization of network available. You can prioritize connected devices. Video streams no longer buffer, I tripled my internet speed. This router is centrally located in my house and wifi range easily covers >1300sq ft. I would recommend this router before setting up a mesh network.

Went to purchase another product for a Christmas present.. Best Buy staffer explained these would do a better job. We installed them and they provide a strong signal throughout the house as well as outside. I had purchased 2 as we were told that it covers about 1500 sq ft but at first we only installed 1 and had coverage for 3 times that. We added the second one since we have a lot of devices. You have to upgrade the firmware before they Mesh properly but that is the only set back we had. The speed is quick and easy to setup.

I replaced my old router with the onhub, granted the technology is much better, but it broadcasts a longer signal and it's much stronger. I have little to no issues with buffering on my smart TV downstairs now. Excellent.

After taking a look at several routers on the website and in-store I decided to settle on the on hub router. Opening the box revealed the router but to ethernet cable's and the AC adapter along with the instructions on how to set it up. The instructions were very easy. After the router was set up, I did a couple of diagnostic tests to see where exactly I was when it came to upload speed and download speed on the Wi-Fi network. I noticed a significant jump, and I was very elated to see that there were hardly any hiccups. I highly recommend this router to anyone who does not want to go through a difficult set up process (especially if this is your first major router purchase). If you want to significantly upgrade your Wi-Fi network and its speed and reach, this router should be considered high on your list.

The first one I had came from my Internet service provider with a 1 GB Internet connection. This router is excellent for the beginning and home user. However, this router lacks some of the standard ease of access options that most users are accustomed to. This router set up can only be done via phone or tablet in iOS or android systems. There is no way to configure this router via computer or web, hopefully this will be an option at it at some point in the future. I can only say that using this router for standard networks at home works excellent with speed and has excellent coverage.

If you want more than a typical wireless router, this is probably not the product for you. Other than naming the SSID and prioritizing the connected devices, there is not much else you'll need to do. Needless to say, it's a seamless router and it just works.

This router was not as easy to set up as it claims, but it is definitely 10x easier than any other router I have ever owned! The coverage is great and I've noticed speed increases in farther areas of my house. Plus now I can leave it out in the open and not have people ask what a weird alien blinking ship thing is doing on my counter. Coverage does say I have a weaker signal in farther areas but when speed testing its actually a better connection. Just a weird quirk I guess.

This router is awesome!! It is very simple to set up, manage, connect to, and use. The only downside of the router is that there is only one Ethernet output jack so you can only hardwire one device at a time, but this does not affect me so 5 stars all the way!! This router is much simpler to use than your everyday router and performs very well without any signal interruption! I would recommend this for anyone who wants great quality, along with simplicity to use and manage.
