There are certain actors whose movies always entertain. I've never seen a bad Denzel Washington movie. Training Day is such a powerhouse of a film with Denzel as the duplicitous and sinister heavy - he won an Oscar for this role! However, the direction, cinematography, editing, screenplay and sound design are all superb! And this Bluray is a fine presentation of all those efforts. I highly recommend this movie! But it is not an easy ride...

What a timeless under-rated drama. I remember this movie being hyped and well received, but it seems like it faded into obscurity. No 4k version? But it is fantastic just as ever and worthy to be in every collection

Denzel Washington is such a versatile actor. He can do comedy, he can do drama, romance, you name it. But you have GOT to see him as the bad guy in Training day. He is amazing.

For some reason I had been avoiding watching this movie again but decided to add it to my collection because I'm a Denzel Washington fan. Not my favorite movie with him but look forward to watching it again.

Denzel nailed it in this one!!! One of my favorites and already have the DVD but had to get the blu-ray version. Top, award winning performances by Washington and Hawke. A movie that you don't want to end!

I own most every movie that Denzel Washington has been in - this movie is gritty! Intense scenes with lots of profanity, drugs, violence, so it's absolutely not for children but it's a really good movie. Watched it many times. Good quality Blu-Ray, great plot twists and acting by all.

This is Denzel at his best. Ethan Hawke does a really good job in here too. Just watching their interactions throughout this movie makes it worth it. If you like movies about corrupt cops then it just doesn't get much better than this classic.

Denzel plays an awesome corrupt cop with his own unit and tries to set the rookie (Hawke) up. Tons of good lines, very fluent movie and an awesome story line. Can't go wrong with having this movie in your collection. Subtitles are way off from what they actually say.

Why is thia not in 4k yet !! Gosh this is an absolute action pack movie . Sadly they dont make movies like this no more.

I found the movie I was looking for at Best Buy. Training Day Staring Denzel Washington. Not a new movie (2001) but I had to have it in my library.I got it for a Great price .Paid only $ 5.99 on blu-ray. Go get your today !

Great movie and excellent acting but for me over the top on language. "F" this and "F" that and the "N" word to the extreme. I mean come on, can't someone tell a story without an extreme amount of this type of talk. Sure wouldn't want someone under 18 to see this believing society deems the language appropriate!

Great movie Oscar winning performance by Denzel Washington can’t go wrong Ethan Hawke is amazing classic movie in my opinion

In my top three of all time. Denzel at his best and a performance for the ages! The Oscar he won says it all! Grab it for your collection because Training Day is a must see!

Have always been a fan of Denzel Washington's. Ethan Hawk definitely gained my respect playing convincingly beside him in this suspenseful thriller that'll make us watch out for all these detectives out here.

Denzell made lot's of movies. This one was the only one that he was the lead, and won an Oscar. Some think this is his best.
