The installation of our new Dacor Induction Cooktop went very well. It involved some minor adjustments that our Technicians were able to handle immediately.

The Best Buy technicians that installed our Trash Compactor were skilled and experienced to handle appliance installations. They were professionalism, knowledge, and ability to quickly and efficiently set up my appliances.

I don’t actually know who I am more disappointed in - KitchenAid for selling such a product with massive defects or BestBuy installers for actually installing this in such condition.

Trash compactor works perfectly. Saves me lots of steps taking out the trash less frequently. Install was seamless and installers were pleasant and fast. Only complaint is GE doesn’t make the specific garbage bags for this unit which had hole in the garbage ba g that fit over knobs on trash compactor holding the bags neatly in place. Now GE makes a plain universal bag making this feature obsolete

Compactor and dish washer were installed by the same man. Both appliances were installed with a terrific amount of professionalism. Extra time taken to make sure both appliances were level and in working order.

The installation team was very helpful but it wasn't until they left that I noticed that the door did not release without physically lifting the door off the hinges.

the only people who don't like trash compactors are the ones who have never had one. This one is so easy and you don't have to make a trip to the trash can every time you turn around. Great capacity.

Once you have one you will always have one. I purchased my first trash compactor about 20 years ago. At first I did not know how valuable it would be. Then I realizes how much of a time saver it was and helped me be more eco smart. This year I remodeled the kitchen. I was without my trash compactor for about 10 weeks and really understood how crushing paper, plastics and foil items was so smart for simplifying recycling. I only have to take those big bulky items out once a week and there is plenty of room now in my recycle bin for amazon boxes!!

Item back ordered and paid for in November. Was delivered Jan24, but techs did not know how to install (their words). Tech came Jan30, tried his best, but could not install (had never installed a compactor). Called Feb 03, held for 30 minutes, gentleman said he needed to transfer me to installation. The lady there said she needed to put me on hold, and 5 minutes later, The call was disconnected. This Total Tech Service is not working. Either install my compactor, or come and get it, give me my money back, and I will order from someone else that knows how to install the products that they sell.

They discovered that the box did not look in good condition and took it back before I even asked them to. Both workers were great and pleasant to work with. They knew what they were doing, worked quickly, and answered any questions. Would give them 10 stars if I could!!

Your workers refused to do the install stating to my son, they couldn't get the old trash compactor out due to rear legs too high, so when I got home from work, I removed it myself less than 10 minutes. They could have turned the 1/4" rear legs up, or cut them off the old unit. I sawed it off and the unit came right out. I removed and installed the new unit myself in 40 minutes. I need my installation fee refunded to me !!!

good compactor but doesnt open easily. Hard to open with just foot pedal. Installed professionally.

If rating the trash compactor itself, I rate it satisfactory. If rating the timeliness of delivery I rate it poor. Over 2 Months! If rating strictly the installation, I rate it poor. Very unprofessional. 3 sloppy guys to unload and only one did the work. Late on arriving and provided no instruction on how to use…

getting excited about mashing trash inmy new compactor

The trash masher was installed incorrectly. When Chris Olson came to install the custom panel, he had to reinstall the trash masher at my expense. He said they had drilled incorrectly into the Corian countertop. It was not at the correct depth. Not happy.

The installation was on time and perfectly done. No problems, no mess, etc.

Friendly staff, did a great job...even checked level on the edge boards of the cabinets and noticed that one was slightly off so we could have our cabinet company fix it.

Terrible installation. Large gap between countertop and trash compactor. They did not make adjustment at base to raise compactor!! Drawer to compactor is wobbly and unstable.

It works...after extra $$ and disposal electrical fixed.
