Works as it is supposed to. My previous one had no USB and just recently lost mine in an apartment fire. That had always saved my behind countless times during layovers and almost every country I go to is able to be accommodated by that gadget's many facets. I realize now that this is the perfect time to buy one with a USB this time.

I travel to Europe, and Asia and have yet to have an outlet that I can't use this in. This configuration is the best travel adapter that I've ever used. The addition of a USB port makes it better than my old one.

I was looking for a compact adapter before heading to Europe to visit several different countries. I wanted something small that I could also use to charge up electronics via usb port. This was the perfect fit and worked out great.

This works great. I've been to Belgium and Germany with this and it has worked like a dream. There is a slight hum that comes from it but I usually don't notice it. I have yet to try it in the U.K but that is next.

Bought this adapter for a recent trip to South America. It worked fantastically. Very useful to have the additional USB charging port (big plus). The design is compact but also extends to fit hard to reach outlets. My co-worker purchased another model and it would not reach / fit into some of the outlet openings.

I used this adaptor in Asia and it served its purpose. However, it was hard to pull it out of the walls. I liked the light weight.

This power adapter worked great. It recharged our 3 prong laptops and phones simultaneously. As a cautionary note, not designed for 1800 watt hairdryers and on last day of trip, burned out as a result.

Good product over all, lots of options and plug styles. USB came in handy since it's secondary and didn't have to use the main plug. Charging my phone and my camera was really helpful while traveling.

Very convenient although a little bulky for hand carry when traveling. Not a power converter, but to my surprise my curling iron worked. The good thing is wherever you travel you can always use it any part of the world! :)

Good one. provides multiple options for different countries. Looks a little bigger, but not an issue. I have bought many Insignia products before(FHD TV etc). All of them have been very good.

Convenient adapter when traveling to multiple countries (e.g. UK and Northern Europe). Only issue is that the base assembly would not fit into all European circular outlets. But otherwise, it worked great.

Having multiple standards on one adapter makes it a bit bigger if not needed. The bonus USB charging port makes does take one less thing out your bag on trip though. Great if you travel a lot and need the different standards. Also it works, which is the most important feature.

Just used it on my trip to Europe and worked great (UK, France, Germany). The USB port was useful to charge my phone while using the other output for something else. Keep in mind it is only an adapter, does not transform from 240V or 220V to 110V. Or from 50Hz to 60Hz.

Used during trip to Cape Town South Africa & it worked perfectly. I wasn't sure since packaging says parts of South Africa - luckily Cape Town is in one of those parts! Used this for my phones leaving the larger one for my laptop - no swapping out of converters necessary.

I'll be going on vacation soon and needed a new converter. It's very nice as it is an all in one unit, coupled with a USB port for charging and not using up the plug space. As far as single outlets go, this one cant be beat for price, size and functionality.

I was going to be traveling out of the country (Ireland, Scotland and then into London). I needed to be able to charge my phone and plug in and use other things (i.e. Curling iron). This was the adapter that was recommended to me and it worked perfectly!

Adapter was purchased for trip to London. My only criticism is that it's a bit bulky and bigger than I had hoped, but it accommodates multiple items and fits all types of outlets.

My family went on an European excursion for 9 days and this product far exceeded our expectations. We were able to use the adapter in London, Paris, Switzerland, and Italy with no problems. I'm glad we didn't spend the additional $20 to purchase an adapter from AAA.

Just took it to Europe and it was easy to use, everything contained in one little adapter. The one thing I would say is that I thought it was a little pricey.
