I travel a lot, and this is perfect. As far as I can tell it handles all plug types at both ends, and unlike some other universal plugs, it seems to grip well, rather than fall out of the wall. The USB connection is a godsend, and works with all voltages. Note that this does NOT modify the voltage for the main plug, only for the USB. Most of our gear can auto-adjust for voltage so our major issue is actually plugging it in, and this compact little device handles that well. The wall plug is interlocked, so only one plug type can be deployed at once, and it locks in place properly, which is sometimes a problem with some cheaper universals.

Used it abroad and performed really well when I needed to charge my devices after a long day of sightseeing.

This device can turn a foreign electrical item into an American, or from one country to another. Small issue plugging in the US adapter, but in the end all worked quite well.

Good product as I traveled to multiple countries I had one converter that accommodated all the countries

My wife was going on a business trip to Europe and Asia. We thought this could work. It worked great!! She used three different adapters and never had a problem.

The adapter has everything that you need to convert DC to AC. The engineering is superb. You simply push the very sturdy tab and out pops the plug that suits your needs. In the many years we have travelled to Europe and other countries with DC electricity this adapter is the best by far. Granted, it is also one of the most expensive so buy to suit your needs. The USB port is a spot-on addition. We didn't want to bring five separate chargers so my 13 year old daughter was clever enough to bring an extension cord (unbeknownst to her parents) and we charged four different devices at once! (Showed up her 16 year old brother as well as he began to grouse about taking turns and his phone should be charged first and out pops an extention cord! Of course no compliment to the sister from the brother). The long awaited point is, this well engineered and simple to use adapter could handle at least four phones being charged at once--with the extension cord--without breaking down.

Great for travelling,,,, robuste but a little bulky. Take room in suitcase but very efficient

I had purchased two adapters for my trip to Scotland and Italy. I needed adapters that would accommodate both countries. I found the other adapter I purchased would heat up after a few minutes of use and had to be cooled down before it would work again. The Insignia did not have this problem. It was versatile and reliable. It is a bit bulky but I don't see how it could be smaller and still work in 4 types of plugs.

Works great and has USB output. Was a little loose fitting when plugged into international l socket (Korea)

I used so many types of converters for my travel but this one is really nice plus it has an USB too hence I can charge my device simultaneously which is great

Purchased this for a recent trip to The Netherlands. Solidly built and works flawlessly. Having the USB with it is great for charging laptop and phone together

Its compact. It works. Only drawback is a little long. Need to make sure its plugged in all the way.

After years of overseas use, my previous adapter broke. This one seems more durable.

This adaptor worked perfectly for plugging in our electronic devices. The added space for a phone charger meant we could charge two devices at once. Worth every penny!
