I bought the 40 lbs Tru Grit kettlebell to supplement the home gym I am working on filling out. The price is pretty good since it should be quality - it is cast as one piece, has a matte black coating, and a color coded handle so you can quickly tell the weight. The handle is great whether you are swinging it with one hand or two, and it feels balanced. These things give it a 5 out of 5. The reason I knocked off two stars are because of the kettlebell they shipped me. The weight tolerance is supposed to be +/- 1% (0.4 lbs,) but mine is -2.2% (39.1 lbs). Some (but definitely not all) of that has to do with the fact that my kettlebell was delivered beat up. There are scrapes all over it, and I had to re-paint it as a result. Despite me only giving it 3 stars, I believe that my kettlebell was not the norm. I just bought the 44 lbs kettlebell, so when it comes in I will review and rate it.

I have been wanting some kettlebells for a while now and after researching them decided to go with Tru Grit products. I had previously bought the 15 pound Tru Grit kettlebells and now wanted a smaller size that my daughter could use to train with me. These 10 pound Tru Grit kettlebells are perfect for her. I look forward to purchasing some of the heavier models as we get stronger.

Came slightly scratched but well built, solid kettle bells

Kettle bells are great work out tools. This one is true as what is shown and on the description. The handle bars have good grip (a little rough) probably to keep your hands locked in while swinging especially for those sweaty hands. The handle bars are a little thicker for my small hands but I’m still able to swing this thing with ease.

No issues with the kettlebell, I think the quality is up there with Rogue. The issue I have is the way they ship them from the facility. My 53# KB came in a giant box with some larger packing bubbles but nothing that could prevent the kettlebell from rolling around. This resulted in some damage to the finish of the kettlebell. They should wrap them heavily with bubble wrap and tape to prevent this.

Kettlebell is well made and feels balanced. It is smooth enough without being slippery. My only issue is the packaging was awful and the kettlebell was slightly damaged during shipping. I don’t blame the kettlebell but do blame the Best Buy shipping team.
