Enjoy that this remake is much truer to the original novelization then it's original film counterpart with John Wayne sorry to put down "The duke" but it's true. would definitely recommend to anyone who loves westerns

I am not much for cowboy movies but this movie had very good actors and I gave it a try. I was very pleased with this movie and the acting. I would recommend my friends and family to watch it. Also family friendly.

I would say this is the Cohen Brothers best adapted film to date. Wonderfully shot, great performances by Bridges, Damon and Steinfeld. A must have for any film fan.

This is a great film. I love the independent feel of the movie. I'm also not the biggest Matt Damon fan, but I thought he was amazing! Definitely watch over and over.

The biggest problem with this movie is that it really isn't that much different than the original. John Wayne is an American Institution, and he is Rooster Cogburn. If you want True Grit, buy the original. This is a movie that didn't need to be remade.
