This product did not work well, kept falling off dash after mounting and even when it stayed in place did not work consistently. I returned it.

This is just not worth the effort. I've owned a Scosche transmitter for years without any major problems. I finally had to retire it and get a new one when the casing on the neck broke and exposed some wires that eventually broke open, mind you this is after close to 2 years of use every day. I replaced it with this Belkin model and as soon as I got it out of the package and set up I knew I was in trouble. I used the same station my prior FM transmitter used and the static came through crystal clear with something that may have been music underneath it. Long story short I spent the next day scanning the entire FM spectrum for a channel, nothing came through without a lot of static interference and anything that seemed anywhere near ok immediately cut out when I moved the car. I read a few reviews after I got home and I should have started there. This unit was not worth what I paid, even at the discounted price.

This is the absolute worst FM transmitter I have ever owned. I generally trust the Belkin brand name bc of other products I have purchased in the past, but this definitely doesn't live up to my expectations. It produces a weak signal, even on stations I am always able to use FM transmitters on, and if the cords going to/from the transmitter move, I get feedback until they stop. I bought it at a store in a town I traveled through for work and don't have where I live or I would have returned it. Since I can't, I'll probably just end up buying another brand and throwing this one away.

Absolutely terrible. The recommended "clear" stations are garbled and filled with static. This product is nowhere near usable and I'm shocked that Best Buy would carry such a low-quality item. Will be returning this ASAP.

This unit will not clearly transmit to even the channels with no music. You will hear static on every single channel and have to hold and tilt the thing constantly. While you drive interference will constantly change and you will need to swap channels. This thing should be illegal to sell as a working product because it really does not do it's job. I had a Griffin dock that must have had 100 times the strength of this unit. It was always clear as a bell and would transmit right oner even the radio station channels. I would not reccomend this to anyone...ok, maybe my worst enemy. Please save yourself the $50.

I've used this twice now on cross state trips and I find that even in low population areas I'm constantly having to switch through stations to find a usable frequency. Even the "good" stations are staticky and the signal quality is entirely inconsistant. This was a waste of money.

However, the power of the signal was super weak with tons of static in the background and the music sounded horrible.

I have had this transmitter for about 3 years now and love it! The piece that plugs into my MP3 player has worn out so I was looking online to see where I could get the same one again and saw all the bad reviews. This was my first FM Transmitter but I thought it did great! I love that you can set the station and that Belkin has a list of local stations you can use on thier website. Made for a great starting point. I did travel cross country using it and I will say that in big cities it was hard to find an empty station to use and most of the time I gave up and listened to the radio in those areas but most of the time it did great.
