These earphones have a good build quality...but I can't help thinking they'll break, at some point, where the overhead part bends....this may not be fair, but it's what made me go buy new earphones in the first place. The other brand I had were Plantronics, which I've bought for years, but they always seem to break at the overhead part. These Turtle Beach ones are sturdier, for sure...so we'll see. The audio quality is OK, good enough for me to hold onto them, but not stellar for the audio-phile in me. Having said that the build quality is good, the comfort, while a little stiff, is OK for long sessions. I love the fact that I can fold them flat and that I can unplug any cord...which not only makes them versatile, but means I don't have to have the mic in, if I don't want it, and that I can take the earphones with me with the additional mobile device cord. I also love that if one of those gets messed up or broken, that I can simply go buy those pieces, rather than replacing the whole thing.

If you have a larger head these are not for you. Very tight, cheap plastic is what this headset is made of. Prolonged gaming sessions will give you a headset with how tight these are. Highs and mids are decent, lacks bass, and does not have a very good 'surround sound' sound. Mic is of decent quality. The top padding is almost non existent when on your head, so it's more of a plasticy feel than a nice cushioned.

I bought these headphones for my son. He uses them on both his xbox and iphone. The sound quality is very clear. The headphones fit his rather large head very comfortably. The product is definitely a very solid product.

The Turtle Beach headset replaces another Turtle Beach headset I bought a few years ago that finally fell apart. The new headset is much lighter and very comfortable. The microphone is a perfect size and very efficient. The padding around the earphones rest on my ears keeping all the sound inside. The adjustment of the earphones with the headband is easily accomplished with excellent results. I enjoy my new headset to the max.

I find the Turtle Beach Recon 320 headphones comfortable to wear and they give good sound reproduction.

I bought this headset to record some letsplays with a friend and they have worked just great. Capturing my audio via a Skype conversation, it sounds crystal clear without being horribly sensitive to keyboard, mouse and white noise in the room. They are comfortable and great for the price. Would highly recommend.

The sound is clearer than other head phones I have used. The microphone captures voice accurately. The build quality is solid and the mic is easily removeable if replacement is needed. They are comfortable to wear for hours but they do not block much room noise but that can be a plus.

Pros: Don't need expensive sound card to get great 7.1 sound. I have the 5.1 Sound Blaster Z series gaming card, with these headphones I get better sound quality without plugging into the card. Cons: Slight latency during game start-up.

The headset is very comfy and the sound is super clear, the only downside is that the swivels are a bit creaky so I worry I might break them. 5/5

I have been really happy with this headset. The audio is good, and the mic is picks more tonality in my voice than my old Logiteks.

The sound quality is great but wearing them for extended periods of time can get uncomfortable, that might just be because I wear glasses though

This is a great headset. The sound is awesome. You can actually hear the surround sound in games that support it. The mic is clear and does not pick up any exterior sounds at all. I have a fish tank in my computer room and it is very loud yet people listening to me cannot hear it at all.

I have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of the speakers and microphone on this headset. I use them for flight sim and they consistently play a wide variation of noise tones as well as allow communication with the microphone crisp and clearly.

Love them love them love them. they go over my ears and allow me to hear what is going on around me without it being a distraction. so surprise visits from the wife :)

Want a solid pair of pc gaming headset that did not rely on needing certain audio ports. These only need a USB connection. The sound is good and setup was easy.

The head set is very good. I bought it for my grandson aND he says it is much better then his old one. It does not pick up other noises in the room.
