I thought the headset costed $200 plus!!! It's only $80 for this headset. They don't look stupid in public if you take out the mic. Amazing sound quality. It plays the game sound threw the headset which makes the game more fun. Turn down the volume on your tv and you are ready!

boyfriend uses these to talk to his friends online, also good for Netflix on xbox, the sound can come out of the headphones or tv which is nice if im sleeping. the boom is removeable to make them headphones

Though this headset can't compete with the quality of its high-end competitors, the sound and value are both there. Someone who's never before experienced using a gaming headset is going to absolutely love them -- they really do make a difference!

This headset is clear for voice and audio for gaming. I was using a Bose set and everyone complained they couldn't hear me. I got this set and now everyone can hear me. The ear cones are large so they do not sit on your ears but rather around them so they do not hurt.

THE CORD COULD BE A LITTLE LONGER. THE SOUND IS GREAT WHEN IT WORKS A LOT OF THE TIME I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH OTHER PEOPLE HEARING ME OR ME HEARING THEM SO I HAVE TO PUT REGULAR HEADPHONES IN.

I love my Turtle Beach headset. I even use them when I'm not chatting with friends because I can hear the game play better through the headset . The headset plugs into my wireless controller and has a long enough cord to prevent unplugging when the gaming gets intense. I use rechargeable batteries, so the extra drain on the battery doesn't bother me. The headset is not flimsy, cheap plastic and are holding up well. I have gone through several different headsets in the past and these are the best by far. I would recommend these to anyone no matter their age.

Sound is very good - not up to par with quality audio headphones, but still very good for intended use & price. Being able to adjust the game play vs chat level is very useful & works well.

I purchased these when they were on sale for Black Friday, but ended up returning them and using the Microsoft version instead due to the ear cups not being comfortable. Just try them on and make sure they work for you. Sound was good.

Very good sound quality for a lower tier headset. Made a world of a difference during games. I can hear everything and the direction they are coming from!(Call of Duty!). The manual controls to adjust game volume -vs- chat is a plus. Very happy with this set.

I've tried all types of headsets and this is one of the better ones. The main thing I don't like about them is the size. I've used others that were slimmer and sounded just as good but didn't last long. We'll see how long these last.

This was my first Turtle Beach headset and even with it being low on the line. The control unit for it is awesome, the headset is awesome, the cord length SUCKS. It's a great headset but it needs to come with a longer cord. Otherwise no more complaints.

I love the fact that my these headphones have a feature in them that the person wearing them can also hear themselves. It has cut down on the yelling

I bought this for my son over 6 months ago. Needless to say he can tune me out very well easily. The headset works great for gaming. Sound quality is very good as I can tell because I can hear the sound when he plays his games.

Very good sound while playing games. Mic monitoring is a plus. You can hear yourself so you don't have to shout. Not very comfortable after a while. Puts pressure on the ears.

Ever since my old headphones, the ones that came with the Xbox one, broke I had to turn up the volume just to hear all the sounds and it would bother others. BUT with these I can have my tv volume off and still hear perfectly and it's awesome

Our old Xbox one headset stop working, so I pick this one up on black Friday weekend in a bundle pack that came with a controller. However, haven’t had the chance to use it yet. This is the only reason why I gave it a (4) star…

Bought this for my son who absolutely loves it. It was a replacement to the original headphone that came with the Xbox bundle. I can say this one is much much better than the bundled headphone. Will recommend if price is good.

Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. The sound quality is great and the mic quality is acceptable. The software updates are hit or miss for this thing. The first one went flawlessly and everything was good. The second one caused a few headaches and it just hasn't worked right since. I still use it but the constant disconnecting and reconnecting is beginning to get a little aggravating. However, for a headset it isn't bad but will probably spring for a different model when this one wears out.

We upgraded to Xbox one. On the old system, we had a Kinect which was primarily used to communicate and play games with friends across the country. We chose this headset instead of another Kinect and have been very pleased.

This was a gift for my girlfriends son who is 14 and an avid, online multiplayer, gamer. He loves these headphones and has commented on them multiple times about how good they are performing for him and how good games sound through them.
