This headset isn't anything special, but it is does exactly what it's supposed to for a low price. For someone like me that doesn't need a top of the line headset it's perfect. Better than the standard xbox mic at a slightly higher price. Worth the buy if you're in the market for an above average headset.

Except it has 1 lil prob of not getting recognized by xbox. N thats only sometimes. Mostly this this fits well around ears, has long battery life, and i can hear ppl n game clearly. The not being recognized only happens on xbox start up n i just unplug n reconnect then works fine after.

They are definitely not the highest sound quality I've owned, but that's not why I bought them. I chose these after the microphone cord on my Polk One-Shot headphones got a short in it. At the time I was looking, it wasn't for a headset up grade, but simply one that would allow me to communicate with my friends when in groups and at a reasonable price. This pair served both purposes and a little more. Not only are they built with a better/stronger designed mic cable, they actually have surprisingly decent sound. If your a bass fan, they have multiple levels of bass that isn't overwhelming but is a good sound and the controller adapter for xbox one works exactly how its supposed to, which is a rarity that I've found so far. This headset was part of a package I received from Best Buy. This headset is pretty good for a beginner and if on sale is a very good buy. For advance players there are better headsets, but at a much more expensive cost. This is a very good product for the discounted price.

For the price, these are pretty decent gaming headphones for the XBox One. I like the ability to detach the microphone as well as the controller attachment to control game/chat volumes as well as mute and bass boost. However, couple of issues for me. The headset is a little small. Prefer to have them cover my ears, rather that sit on top..makes them uncomfortable after longer periods of game play. The sound quality is so-so. Also wish the cord was a little longer. Like I said, decent for the price though. I would still recommend if looking for an affordable gaming headset.

I could not be happier with this headset. Audio is just right but you can always tweak it to your liking. It comes with a headset adapter that connects to your xbox one controller so no need to buy that separate. The headset is very comfortable, no complaints and highly recommended.

These are infinity better than the headphones that come with Xbox. You can hear all your game audio directly in the headset, as well as in game chat. The control is a bit hard to unplug from the controller, and you have to get used to how to set up the volume, but it is super easy.

This headset has great features like incredible sound quality with a bass booster function. The mic is removable and you can turn up the chat volume independently of the game volume. You can also hear yourself talk through the headphones so you can hear when you yell and sound goofy.

Turtle Beach is known for their quality when it comes to headsets and they do not fail with this version. An added bonus is that you can use these headsets on multiple devices. This feature is not advertised on the box, but they work well on xbox 360/ps3, PC and current Gen systems.

So glad i picked this up on black Friday. The new headsets that come with the Xbox one are junk compared to the ones that came with the Xbox 360. The only thing i don't like is you have to have the mic on the left side, and it does't flip up, so when you store the headset you need to take out the mic so it doesn't get bent. I love that you can turn up and down game sounds and chat separately. You will have to update your controller for it to work properly, cause when i first used it it made a static noise a lot till i plugged in and updated the controller. Everything comes in clear and sounds awesome . I gave it 4 stars cause i didn't know till i bought it that you cant change sides on the mic.

Couldn't complain, these are great little headphones for playing online. I like being able to hear the gameplay in the headset (or TV if you just want to relax) without having to have the TV volume on. Good sound, comfortable. Decent price. Love turtle beach gear.

This is a fantastic headset. The mic picks up very well and the sound quality is decent. The only issue I have with the unit is that the cord from the headset to the controller is too short for my liking. Other than that for the price it is top notch.

I needed a reasonably priced but good headset, and this one was a perfect match. Overall it is a great headset for the price. Great sound, easy to use, and comfortable. Biggest complaint is that after wearing it too long it begins to hurt the ears.

When my stock headphones went south I was in the market for a new set of headphones but I didn't want anything too expensive. The sound quality is good enough for me and it has great volume and bass settings which allow me to hear everything and then some.

I think this is a great product the only thing I didn't pay attention to is the headset is not over sized. I had previously used a headset with very large ear covers so this one is smaller with a more snug fit around my ears. Overall a very nice headset.

The sounds is good - on the level for typical baseline Turtle Beach. I feel it could be a bit better at times, but the mic-monitoring is a great feature. I do wish that the stereo cable to the controller was just a foot or two longer... I really don't want to have to buy a 3-foot extension cable for it, but it's just one of those things where if you set the controller down on the coffee table and try to get up, you definitely need to make sure to take the headphones off first. Nice that they aren't wired all the way to the Xbox One, but I wish that the one cable that they use was just a little bit longer. Still, not a bad bargain, if you can snag them on sale. Comes with the Stereo Adapter that you CAN buy separately if you have other headphones that you'd like to use that won't work with the new Xbox One controller connection.

The Turtle Beach gaming headset was just what I expected. It was very comfortable with excellent sound from each earpiece. The microphone performed perfectly with a normal voice level. I just hope it lasts a reasonable amount of time.

Sound quality is good. I like the ability to use the headsets to listen to things on tablets and phones. It also has a nice amplified bass function. The volume buttons for the chat is separate from game volume button and it works well.

Not too expensive yet very good quality. Love the headset and would recommend it to anyone. Quality sound. Great connection to the controller. You have to unplug and re-plug the base in every now and then when restarting a game but not often.

Prior to buying these, I was skeptical about headsets, but after using these, I am sold. The sound quality is very good and they are comfortable on the head. I am sure there are better headsets, but for the price, these are very good.
