This headset has great sound quality and a comfortable fit. I use this headset for streaming the video games I play and interacting with the chat.

If you're looking for a great gaming headset, these are awesome. The sound is amazing even in Bluetooth mode. The battery last for around 15 hours and you can still use them while charging.

I love the option and capability of the is headset. Like being able to use this with my laptop while gaming, my tablet when watching video, being able to answer phone calls while using the headset is a great feature.

This is a pretty decent set of headphones. Real simple to setup. comfortable on the ears. Has good features on it.

Was looking for a headset with freedom to move around. Chorded HS tie you down too much. Sound is great. Mic is great. Also used for music so covers many needs.

This is an excellent surround sound headset, very versatile with the bluetooth connection in addition to dedicated wireless dongle.

I purchased this headset for my son who plays online games as well as listens to music. The bluetooth capability was sync with his phone and he is able to get calls during games.

My computer always had issues running multiple programs at once, so playing music while playing video games rarely happened. With these, however, you can use the USB connector and the Bluetooth at the same time, so I play music on my phone while gaming on my computer and it works amazingly.

Over all great product. Glad I spent the extra money on a wireless set up. Would recommend this product to any one who has had wire problems with head sets in the past

Needed a replacement for my pc and came across these wireless ones. The sound is very good. Had a little trouble with the set up but looked up on line and figured it out.

Besides the auto shutdown feature the headset is great. I enjoy that I can pair it with both my phone and laptop simultaneously. Sound quality is decent. I actually use it with 3 devices simultaneously and it does very well.

I love these headphones. Music, Voice during Skype, etc...it feeds your voice back through so you can hear everything amazing. But, they seem to cut out sometimes. Trying to get with support on this.

I normally don't submit reviews but since there was only one review for this product I wanted to respond to the previous criticisms. First of all I agree with the previous poster that this headset is VERY quick to shut off when there are no sounds being played. I wish there were a way to extend that shutoff timer, but if you're plugged in then it never shuts off. I use TrackIR anyway so I often have at least one wire trailing from the headset, so leaving the charging usb cord plugged in as well isn't a big deal to me. YMMV however if you never want any wires hooked up. As for battery life, it seems extremely GOOD to me! Maybe the previous reviewer got a bad battery or something, but I have run these things for the better part of a weekend before they went dead. Conversely, charging time was pretty short IMHO. As for sound quality, I don't listen to music on them so I can't comment, but they seem fine for what I'm using them for...looking forward to 7.1 though. The blue tooth feature is nice, and I like being able to simply pop the mic arm off when not using it, but I wish there were some kind of battery level indicator since you really have no idea what the charge state unless it's totally full or totally empty. All in all though, a very comfortably headset with lots of features. When I first got them I considered taking them back for another set (it was kind of an impulse buy when my other set finally fell apart,) but after comparing them to the other choices and wearing them awhile, I am quite happy with them. If the buttons were a little more ergonomic and there were indicators for which modes were active and what the battery level was, I'd give them 5 stars.

Ok, so lets start out by saying this is a completely unbiased review. I don't know what some of these other reviews are talking about but they are just flat out wrong. If your looking for the truth, read on. I currently own another pair of turtle beach headphones I paid $250 for over a year ago that I use for my PS4, PS3 and Xbox (Turtle Beach Tango's) but they were not compatible with the PC so I needed to get a new set just for that use. I just purchased the Z300's on 3/25/14. First impression was a good one. It was a very nice box (Nicer then my $250 headphones came in) and they were presented nicely. They are very simple to use so they don't come with much because you don't need much to get them up and running. Set up was a breeze. Charge up the headphones, plug in the USB drive, change the sound and Mic settings on your PC and your ready to rock and roll. It's that simple. There is a download available on Turtle Beaches website that you will also need to download and install so you can take full advantage of the 7.1 surround sound that the Z300's are set up for. The Z300's sound is amazing. They sound just as good if not better then my Tango's. There are 4 sound preset settings on the Z300's that are all you need. They also have a sound compression button to really bring out the sounds you need to hear i.e fotsteps, etc.. Now to the comfort. I was a little worried at first because my Tangos have leather ear cups, leather headband and are super comfortable while the Z300's have fabric ear cups and fabric headband. That feeling was quickly put to rest when I first put the Z300's on. They are the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. You don't even realize they are on your head which makes it possible for long gaming sessions without ever having to take em off. They also have bluetooth capabilities which is a great feature since you can answer calls or stream music while gaming without the need of wires getting in your way. The battery life is also fantastic. I have never run into a problem where I was running low on battery life after long gaming sessions. Ok, now to the one thing that made me give this headset a 4 star rating, the Mic. The Mic does seem to pick up sounds a little on the lower side during voice chat in different games. I am basing this off of using the headset while playing Call of Duty online. My friends say that my voice is a little hard to hear if I'm not speaking to loud or if I don't have the Mic right up to my mouth. I don't know yet if there is going to be a resolution to this little problem yet via a download or something like that but that's the only reason I would not give this headset 5 stars. During game recording and live streams however the Mic pics up my voice perfectly and I have no problem with the chat audio at all so this is what is confusing. You can hear every word I say perfectly when I record through XSplit or when I Stream through Twitch but it doesn't pick up my voice as well through chat during gameplay. This might be because I can change the game sound settings and mic settings individually when I record or stream but I'm not sure. Conclusion. Here are all the Pros to this headset: The headset is super comfortable to wear for long periods of time It has excellent 7.1 surround sound quality through all applications including, music, movies, gaming and bluetooth calling Nice sound presets built in Separate Mic and Volume controls A breeze to set up Wireless Cons: Mic seems to pick up voice a little low during chat within games themselves but is fine during recording or streaming. This review is as honest as I can be. Sound and features are fantastic but the mic comes up a little short from the rest of the headset. Hope this helps you make an informed decision but I would definitely recommend this headset.

I ask the sales associate for the Turtle Beach headphones for xbox, my son want the surround sound, wireless set. Because I don't know what to look for I needed help. I bought these for my 12 year old son for Christmas and when he tried them they didn't work with the xbox. I had to return them. I wish the sales associates were more informed on what to tell the customers, so I don't have to come back to exchange a gift.
