Pros:
1. Nice cushioning at top of headset.
2. Comes with wireless USB adapter for PC.
3. Pairs with bluetooth devices and wireless PC adapter pretty much instantaneous.
4. Sound quality is decent
5. Headset works wirelessly during PC gaming as advertised unlike the SoundBlaster EVO ZxRs.
6. Headphones look a lot better than the SoundBlaster EVO ZxRs.
7. Removable flexible microphone.
8. Battery life is great.
9. Volume levels are decent for a wireless headset.
10. Headset is pretty light.
11. Microphone picks up and outputs sound clearly while gaming according to my friends.
12. Voice indicator tells you when battery is low.
Cons:
2. The wireless range of headset isn't the greatest. I'd say the signal can span across 2 mid sized rooms before cutting out. The range on the the SoundBlaster EVO ZxRs are a little better.
3. Sound quality is on the flat side. No bass here. My Audio Technica ATH-M50s have more bass and they aren't really bassy.
4. Headband adjusters are plastic and not metal like most headphones in this price range.
5. The ear cup cushions need to be thicker as most peoples' ears will touch the inner portion of the driver unit causing discomfort.
6. No control over the auto-power off feature.
7. No sound EQ control over game mode presets. Right now game mode 3 and 4 sounds good for me.
8. No noticeable change in sound quality with dynamic range compression on or off.
9. No skip track controls on headset... or maybe I haven't found them yet.
10. No noise-cancellation feature.
11. Included charging and 3.5mm jack cables are way too short.

I have had these for a little bit now. First of all they have great sound. I am able to wear them all day due to the padding. I use then for when I am at work and when I come home I game with them. The microphone makes it ideal for work calls or use while gaming. I am able to charge them one a day at most (when used heavily) during lunch and use them the rest of the day. The main way I use them is with the USB dongle. I can also connect to my phone then via Bluetooth and listen to both the phone and the computers audio at the same time. I ended up dropping my laptop (on the USB dongle) and was able to get it replaced through the manufacturer no problem. I think the brand is solid and while a little pricey, worth the cost for how many hours I have used them.

Before I go over my experience, I want to say to those bent on buying a pair of Z300's no matter what anyone says....BUY A PROTECTION PLAN FOR THEM!
----------------------------
That said, I bought my Z300's for $190 six months ago to replace a pair of $70 TB PX22's I bought six months before that.
I found them to have a wonderful sound and a comfortable, yet somewhat awkward, feel with how they sat on top of my head. I was constantly changing settings and muting my mic putting them on or taking them off, which starts to not be joke worthy after a while. However, I was satisfied with them.
The most recent issue I encountered was a repeat of the same break/fracture in the adjustment arm, just above the screws at the earpiece on one side, I had previously encountered with the PX22's. The Z300 and PX22 adjustment arm design is identical:\
I didn't bother TB support with the PX22's as I couldn't find my receipt from that purchase. I did contact support regarding my issue with the Z300's and they responded on a Saturday ... KUDOS!
Fortunately, for me, while responding to supports follow-up, I not only found my receipt for the Z300 purchase but I also found a Geek Squad Protection Plan was purchased:)
Instead of having to deal with emails and shipping hassles, I walked the broken headset in that same day and walked out with a quality Corsair Vengeance H2100 wireless headset at half the cost and with all the listening pleasure and more=)
While their support was very responsive- I will not be a returning customer for Turtle Beach and cannot in good conscience recommend their headsets based on back-to-back near identical failures to two separate models.
NOTE: I treat my gear with the respect of one who wishes to get as much normal use out of them as possible. I never dropped them or extended them beyond the little necessary to slip them off and it was telling to those who know me when they heard I was going for my THIRD headset inside a year.

Bought these to replace my broken Logitech G35 headphones. Surround sound and volume better than the G35s.
Set up was quick and simple!

It's a great headset when you're at or right around your computer. I smoke outside the house so it tends to cut out when I walk about 6ft from my computer to the carport. I would buy this again because it serves it's function very well.

I upgraded the gear for my home office. I spend hours in online meetings.
The microphone is clear. No wires interfere with my ability to roam the home office during conferences. Sound is great and the set is comfortable, even after hours of use.
A neat feature that I don't use often is that in addition to the connection to your system via WiFi, a second connection can be made to a phone or MP3 player via Bluetooth. Independent volume controls are provided.
Charge from USB lasts all day.
Only minor quirk is that the USB transceiver needs to be unplugged and plugged back in between boots on Windows 8.1.
Worth the price. Would recommend.

This headset is certainly not worth the price with its short comings.
The mic doesn't seem to pic up my voice very well in popular voice chat services for gaming.
This is with all receiver volumes cranked up as high as they can go.
There is no fix on the forums and when you go to the support page to contact turtle beach it is blank.
These are however really great for sound and comfort, best I've had on these two things so far.
