i have always been a Astro 40 fan but I like these better. They are more comfortable and built very sturdy. The mic detaches easily when you're not using it and the volume/mute are within easy reach. The noise reduction is great and the sound is awesome. All my friends I game with have switched to these headphones. If you have an Oder controller you'll need the adapter otherwise they plug right into the 3.5mm jack. Do it, buy it, you won't regret it!!

One of the best headsets I have ever had. Very clear sound. Can hear the footsteps of people trying to sneak up on you in COD. Recommend these to the best gamers.

Yes.. you could get better but the price is almost not worth it with these available. Only recommendation on turtle beaches with a mic.. don't drop them!

Pricey, but good sound quality. I use it mainly for my pc and ps4. The mic is probably the best out of other gaming headsets around the same price point. The memory foam ear cups are really comfortable and stay cool through long game sessions. It has pretty good noise cancelation so you can't really hear much outside noise which might not be for everyone but perfect for me.

My son did all the research on this headset. He has gone through at least 3 in the last few years. I am very hopeful this set lasts a very long time!

I wear a 7 3/8 fitted hat so my head isn’t huge, it’s just a little wide. This headset felt like it was squeezing my head a bit too tight. I hooked it up to an Astro Mixamp Pro TR and played Black Ops 3. I felt the sound was really comfortable and enjoyable. Although the grenade explosions did sound a bit muffled. I want to try the T.A.C. audio controller but might not get it as I can’t pair it with an official Turtle Beach headset because it was too tight. I might get the T.A.C. and pair it with another more comfortable headset to see how it sounds. Overall the sound was comfortable and enjoyable but a little bit muffled at certain loud explosion parts. The sound of this headset is good for long gaming sessions as the sound is annoying at all. However, the fit of this headset is too small.

This set was a little pricey but well worth it. They are extremely comfortable especially if you have a larger head like I do. I wear between a 7 3/4 to 7 7/8 fitted cap for reference. Sound quality is excellent and the microphone works very well. I've received no complaints from friends online about any background noise coming through the mic. I highly recommend these.

only reason i am giving them a 3 is so hopefully turtle beach picks up on this review, i'd give them a 4 however. awesome headset though. the shelf display does this no justice. half the time broken or just weird setup. >> the ear cups fit probably best of all that i have had, the mic is way more sturdy and not in my face, i like the headband tightening and how the ear cups rotate so when they are off my head i can have them on my chest better. i do however notice they are a much heavier headphone. doesn't mean they weigh me down and my neck gets tired or anything but when i tilt my head down they slide a little which right now is starting to get annoying however the volume pickup is better off the bat and overall honestly they are a dope set of headphones

Comfortable and about as cool as it gets for a gaming headset at this quality and price.

I bought these as a gift after doing a great deal of research, and my boyfriend absolutely loves them. He says they are extremely comfortable to wear and the sound is unmatched by any other headphones he has worn for gaming. If it's any indication of the sound clarity/quality, upon his first use of the headphones he exclaimed, "I just heard bones crunch!"

I really like this headset it had great sound and the microphone quality was really good. The only problem I had with it, was my head was too small even at the smallest setting it would slide down my ears. I had to make a foam cushion to put on the headband for it to be comfortable. So I returned it after a while.

Purchased these to replace XO 7 pro head phones that the plastic holding the right head phone had broken on. These head phones are a great improvement over the XO 7's. No brittle plastic in the frame and extremely comfortable to wear. A great product and Best Buy price matched the advertised price on Amazon without any hassle.

These are super easy to setup and use. The audio is clear and there aren’t any issues using the on console or with a computer.

Great sound and microphone works very well. Other online players say voice is very good with little to no background noise.

Comfortable around the ears. Great sound quality for games requiring hearing footsteps or audio queues. For my setup and PC, this required a splitter in order to have the microphone work. My PC is not old, so be aware of that for PC use.

My first wired headset. Sound is good and they are comfortable to wear but I did find it cumbersome having to drop controller and remove headset as have been used to a wireless set. Would recommend to anyone that is okay with a wired setup.

I bought these for my husband. He is an avid gamer and needed a headset that was comfortable that he could wear all day. He is also very picky on sound quality and says these are amazing.
