This headset has many up to date features at a great price. Flip up to mute microphone that is pretty sensitive works great for gaming. A standard jack that you can use on Xbox One or PS4 controllers, Nintendo switch, and laptops and desktops as headphones only or headsets with the more and more common combo headset jacks. The sound is pretty consistent, maybe a bit more tinny than really expensive headsets I have, but hard for me to notice unless I am switching back and forth 5 minutes at a time. People can hear me just fine through the microphone on Xbox Live and Skype, in softer voice as well louder gaming related outbursts. I found the ear cups comfortable to wear and I could stand wearing them for around 3 hours at a time, which is pretty good for me, (I have larger ears that stick out away from my head and these didn't compress them overly more than my absolute favorite headsets. They also sound pretty good with virtual surround sound. I tried them with Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos (Atmos isn't included but there is a demo available) on both Xbox One and Windows 10. Overall I would say these level of headsets should be the new standard for entry level gaming headsets. Definitely worth a look and try for you and your gaming people in your life.

My baby like the other one I purchased but the mic doesn’t work.

This headset would be great to give to your younger sibling to make them feel like they are a part of things. Terrible balance of game volume and game chat, and there is no way to configure it differently.

This headset was cheaply built and I would not recommend it. We used ours for 30 days and the adapter plug broke in half. The tip, literally broke in half! The metal used in this component was almost as thin as tin foil. Very disappointing and a wast of $100!

The sound quality is utterly terrible. It makes everyone in your party echo and sound like a robot. Other people in the party say that your mic sounds cheap and crappy. Some of the feed back I’ve gotten with this mic says it sounds like your in a fish bowl.
