Hooks right up to XBox One controller. Volume, chat, and bass controls. Mic Mute, and ability to hear how loud your own voice is which is perfect for helping keep you from being too loud. No need for batteries like a wireless headset, nothing special to do other than attach control box to controller. Can use as regular headphones with any device with 3.5mm headphone output like smartphones, PC's, and tablets. Bass is good, sound can get quite loud if want. Clear. Will they beat a set 3-4x more expensive? No, but for the price, they are great.

There is a few problems with this headset, but it is worth the price. The ear cups are a little small, so for larger ears, they may not surround the ear as they are designed. They also will have some static and breakup and hiss when using them at higher volumes. This is well documented with this headset. If you don't paly at loud volumes, this isn't a major issue, but something to be aware of. Overall, I have no complaints with the sound (except when tryin to turn up to loud) and everyone has heard me well on the Mic. I'm happy with the purchase as I don't use headsets on the Xbox One a lot, but if I used them constantly, I would suggest a step up.

Even though this headset was refurbished, it sounds really good. It was cheap so I was like why not try it out and honestly, I like it way more than I thought I would

Adapter was difficult to plug into the controller. You have to line it up perfectly and it took a little bit to get it angled and inserted right without breaking the jack in the controller which I eventually did. Once I got it in, noticed that there were times I had to turn off my controller and turn it back on for the sound to work. This is only at the beginning when you turn your controller on. Sound is really nice. Control of the sound (chat/gameplay) is a little weird but a good headset for the price. I know it sounds like it is junk but I just wanted people to know the quirks before buying. It is a good headset for the money.

I always wanted some turtle beachs when they first came out. Now that i have an xbox one and finally got my very first turtle beaches i think i made a great purches..i recommended to anybody..well spent i did..

These headphones work great and are especially good for the price. I give them an A+.

This is the first headset I've bought in a long time and they are fantastic. I was very surprised at how light and comfortable they are and the sound quality is great. The chat pad adapter also works good. I've had no issues with them being refurbished. They were worth every penny.

I was wanting something better than what I was using (old phone ear buds) These headphones more than fit the bill. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality. Of course, all I could compare it to was the ear buds that I had been using, and one ear bud wasn't working. For the price, these are great. I've never used any of the more expensive headphones, but I'm satisfied with these.

Can't tell the difference between refurb. and new.
