There are better headsets out there for the price. Weren't that comfortable at all. The padding on the headband was too thin. Sound was good. Not great. Returned them for Afterglows LVL 5. What a difference.

I have had the headset a month now and the mic stopped working. It sounds OK but the headset itself creaks from plastic on plastic rubbing at the band to earpiece connection. I have 4 headsets and this is my 3rd favorite set. The turtle beach brand had usually been my favorite all around the xo fours are almost as good as my Astros but this headset is basically the recon 50x with orange paint. I think for $50 it's OK but I'd spend the extra $20 and get the fours or the Kingston hyperX clouds. I game 6-8 hours a day also and after about four these do get a little uncomfortable but almost all do except my Astros. For the normal 1-2 hour player I think the recon 50x will do fine, but for those of us that spend too much time gaming I'd have to suggest other options.

Definitely a very cool look, but it is cheaply made. While the sound does sound awesome at first when you begin using it, it starts to lose its great sound gradually. The mic quickly stopped working at certain angles, you have to move it around to get it in the right spot so that it'll work.
