I love the build quality and materials used to make the headset. It's very comfortable especially for an over the ear type of headset. I love the sound. I realized i pick up more sounds than my friends ps5 brand headphones in games especially in fps games. Footsteps are a bit crisper and overall sound is just awesome. Battery life is also amazing. I've had the headset for almost 2 weeks now and i game almost every day between 3-6 hours and its battery is barely on 50%. Now the cons, one con i ran into is the range isn't like the previous model. With the previous model i was able to go downstairs and get me a snack while still talking to my friends. But this headset is alright in that category. Another thing is a couple days ago. I ran into a problem where for some reason it just wouldn't connect to my ps5. So like anyone else i just turned them off and turned them back on. Nothing. Unplugged the usb from the system and plugged it back in and turned on the headset again. And nothing. It only worked when i turned off my ps5, took out the usb, and the turned off the headset, then turned my ps5 back on. Logged in, connected the usb, and then turned on the headset. Only for the headset to sound like its been under watter and crackling. Turned it off and turned it back on again. And completely fine. Another con is that you have to use an app to customize your sound output. Another thing is the volume rocker doesn't have a stop on it. So you can keep scrolling the volume rocker up and it wont stop. Itll keep beeping at you saying you're at max volume. But you can still mess with it. Thise cons are what made me not give it a 5 star. But they are real azimg headphones. I would definitely buy them again in the future or as a gift for a family member or a friend.

Being a musician since childhood, I can certainly appreciate good audio tech. Couple that with also being an avid gamer since childhood and I demand not only great visuals, but also great sound. The Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen2 MAX headphones tick almost every box for a gaming headset. To get my single minor gripe out of the way quickly, all I can say is that I wish these headphones could be cranked up a tad louder. It could be that all of the drums and loud guitar amps have taken some of my hearing (it’s a fact) and they are actually plenty loud enough for most people, but for me, I would like a few more decibels to make my gaming experience even more immersive. I suppose this would just further degrade my hearing, so maybe it’s actually a good thing. Since this is a personal preference and my hearing woes are a self-inflicted disability, I can’t even take a star off my rating for this, because I have found everything else to be excellent. That said, the sound quality is quite good. In fact, these are some of the best sounding gaming headphones I have ever tried. All of the intricacies of the worlds and NPC’s come to life while wearing these. I am using these with my PS5 and after setting up the 3D Audio settings, the directional sounds of everything from horses on your left or right, even behind you, arrows flying by your head, NPC’s talking to your left or right, all feels (sounds) right. Enabling 3D Sound on your PS5 is a must and is also tuneable in the PS5 audio settings. My favorite feature of these headphones is that they can also double as your main Bluetooth headphones for your phone and can even be connected at the same time you are playing a game. This is an excellent feature and allows you to keep in touch, get notifications, make and receive calls, all while playing your game. Awesome! Setup was as easy as it gets on a PS5. Once you have charged the headphone batteries full the first time, simply plug the USB dongle into the front of your console, turn on the headphones and PS5, and setup/pairing is automatic. I haven’t had any issues with the connection when starting my console, or any dropouts while playing. Battery life has been perfect for me in that I only need to recharge every few days at best. They are rated for up to 40 hours. Another great thing about these, is that when you power them on you’ll get an announcement of your current battery level letting you know when it is time to charge. The same voice will also let you know when you are successfully connected to your console, which again is automatic. Comfort is a VERY important factor for me when choosing headphones. Being a glasses wearer, I always need to make sure that the headphones don’t fatigue my temples, or even the top of my head. I am happy to say that these are extremely comfortable and I have zero issues wearing them for hours at a time. The crown and memory foam ear cups are super comfy and don’t get too hot when wearing for extended gaming sessions. There is also a Turtle Beach companion app (see my Android screenshots). Setup and pairing with the app does not require logging into any accounts, or any personal information at all, which is a welcome surprise. This app will let you enable “Superhuman Hearing,” as well as adjust volume levels, etc. I honestly haven’t heard much of a difference between 3D Sound and Superhuman sound. Maybe it’s because I have both enabled, or maybe it’s because I do not have Superhuman hearing. See drums and guitars above. Besides me wanting to torture myself with too many decibels, I can’t find a single thing I don’t like about these headphones. They are comfortable, they sound excellent, they look cool, and the fact that they can connect to your gaming platform and your phone at the same time is just incredible. Highly recommended.

Garbage… every time I decide to play I have to do a dance with turning the headset on or off, unplugging the dongle and back in to get them to pair properly. Absolutely worthless might as well have a wire with this set.

I ordered them yesterday for my brother, they were supposed to be new, but I got them refurbished for the price of the new ones.

Not good I spent all this money on these headphones and they just stop working less then a year

Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2s are a good buy to consider within the current gaming headphone market. I will say right off the bat that the pros outweigh the cons with these gaming headphones. You don't always need RGB everything in order to experience a good game. Consider the price and even when these go on sale - compared to others, this is a bargain. As a ps5 gamer who plays mostly on the daily, 1-2 hours a night, I can say that these headphones are worthy of consideration. It is not the most premium feeling gaming headset. They seem bulky and very much plastic everything but I do like that it seems durable. The microphone is able to get muted when flipped and concealed into the headphones for when not in use. 3D audio is a huge plus when gaming and when you want to get a full immersive experience. Most people have a very nice TV but lack the proper audio quality but when you put these on and boot up a game that takes advantage of the 3D audio, you can definitely tell. These headphones have a full range of audio that works for all game types from FPS to intense music themed, heavy, new studio games. The 50mm speakers within the ear cups are big and thank goodness that the ear cushions are comfortable. The headband has been reinforced with metal as well to be extra durable for many years. 20 hours of wireless battery life seems to be a good choice. Charge it with the included usb-c cable (thank goodness it is usb-c and not micro). If you feel the need to connect your headphones to your phone for music or phone calls while you game, you have that option with the included Bluetooth connectivity. For what matters to me as a gamer, you get that and more in these gaming headphones. Turtle Beach has made a name for itself and you can't go wrong with these.

I’ve had my Turtle Beach headphones for a few weeks and it’s great! It is as though the sound technicians for Turtle Beach are constantly working on the evolution of sound. I got some Turtle Beach wired headphones a couple of years ago for my Xbox and I thought then I was wowed by how great they performed with PUB-G and Halo. Now fast forward a few years and I’m astounded. While playing Fortnite the sounds of footsteps, the wind, animals, and other sounds in the game are so immersive. Immersive, that is the word that really describes these Bluetooth headphones with an amazing battery life. These days you have to forego something if you want it to perform at its peak. However, there isn’t anything I had to give up so that could game for hours and hours. For instance today I started playing around 6pm and finished closer to 11pm and my battery was running great, my mic sounded great, and the ear cushions still felt comfortable after a few hours. My favorite features are the long battery life, the microphones output for voice is crisp, the microphone swivels up to mute, and the fact that you can pull it right out of the box, plug the usb dongle in, power on the headset, and go! A great gaming headset for anyone, but especially for the gamer in your life!

I picked up these headphones looking for good quality and something that would last over multiple hours of use if I got into a deep gaming session online or just within a story of a game. So far these have not disappointed. They came in the box already assembled and ready to use. The microphone is already attached. I know some other brands have the mic separate but not this one. It has a collapsible option up/down and clicks into place so you don’t always need the mic down if you don’t want it. There is also a “glasses feature” to adjust the comfort to your head. I have glasses and did not need to adjust thus feature. Headphones fit from the start. You should take the time to fully charge them if you have the time. Id say they come with about a 50% charge. I am using these on a PS4 and I was able to pair these headphones relatively easily with the Playstation. Just plug in the usb receiver to an available usb port on the playstation, and go into your device settings to choose/switch/customize which audio settings you prefer. For sound quality i have no complaints. Most of the time the bass was deep and depth of sound was perfect. There was times while playing the last of us part 2 where if I was in a rain environment, the sound was spotty and it seemed like the rain bothered the headphones ability to create good sound. Also overall, the reason I deducted a star is because the foam on the earpieces tends to get uncomfortable after long periods of use. Its soft and cushiony but after a few hours I found myself needing to adjust them constantly as they bothered my ears. I also absolutely do not like the fact that these are not collapsible. There is no reason in this day and age headphones shouldn’t be collapsible. Especially for storage reasons.

This thing is good. A few key points are that it has simultaneous bluetooth, a pretty long battery life, solid build quality and the audio is an A. With all that, it does have some drawbacks. First that the range is a little wonky, at least in my experience. I do have a ton of walls in my house so that may be it but compared to the arctis nova 7p's that i have, the range on those is ridiculous even through walls. I also am not a fan of the app where you adjust settings. All in all, solid headset. I would recommend.

The Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen2 MAX is a beautiful headset, both in functionality and style. Out of the box, it’s not as heavy as other headsets I’ve tried. The feature of the mic tucking into the headset is AWESOME. As advertised, it does not interfere with eyeglasses when both are worn. The sound is incredible. You can hear sounds in your game that you didn’t know were there. It felt submersive, yet you can still hear family when they needed to get my attention. It was easy to setup. Both the PS4 and PC were Plug-and-Play with the included dongle. Nothing to install, was up and running in seconds. You can also use Bluetooth if you prefer. Turtle Beach also offers an app to fine tune your audio experience (photos attached). You also can track your battery life and if the dongle is on PC or PS. It's comfortable to wear for hours of gameplay with battery life to match. My ears do get warm while wearing them, so that's my only real complaint. I highly recommend this product.

I love this headset. Comfortable, with good sound quality and great battery life. I only have to recharge every couple of days. I’ve worn them for almost 12 hour straight without needing to recharge and come back the next day for another 12 hours without issue. Being able to charge while using them is also a plus for me. I hate having to step playing just because they finally need a recharge. The mic is small enough that I don’t notice it when it’s in use, but has great sound pickup without outsides sounds coming through

For my purpose these were excellent. They allowed me to play games on any console or PC and be connected to my phone at the same time. So for games without chat like Splatoon I could use Discord chats and talk and still get game or movie audio at the same time. Volumes could be independently adjusted as well. Sound quality was good and could be EQ'd. Retractable mic was nice and I never got any complaints audio quality/levels. Battery lasted for multiple sessions. Ear cups were adjustable for glasses and and comfy. Build quality is okay to good, they could be tossed around on the couch or gaming chair, but I'd try real hard not to accidentally sit on them. Charging is USB-C. Mine did require an update out of the box, but after that they were solid. These are all around generally good and comfortable. A little on the heavy side, but I could use them for 3-4 hours regularly for a game and a movie ie. They are closed headphones so there is a little pressure if you're accustomed to open backs. Nothing crazy though, and the ear cups inside face is not the faux leather/pleather, It's some kind of soft breathable nylon which stays cool. I have had to reset or reconnect from time to time as I used these on multiple devices, but not so often that it was a problem Mostly on the BT side if say 2 things try to connect at the same time for some reason. Otherwise these have been great and I couldn't really find any other headsets with the same features anywhere in this price range.

I have used Turtle Beach headsets for years. These were a bit pricey, but i figured that i would purchase them. While they are comfortable, and have pretty good sound, i was only able to use them for about 9 months before the solid plastic part just below the rotation point on the headset broke completely. There is no gluing them back together. I cannot see buying another pair of this model. This is actually the first pair of Turtle Beach headphones to break like this on me.

These headphones are nice and comfortable. They sound great and the noise cancelation works really well. However, there is this known issue with them where they will shut off and not turn back on. I didn’t know about the defect at the time that I bought them. They will shut off and you have to reset and upgrade them on like a laptop to get it to start working again. I’ve had to do this twice so far and it’s only May, I bought these as a 12/15/24. They only have a 1 year manufacture warranty so I’m nervous after the year if it happens again and the steps to reset no longer work I’m just out of money. I would take the time to look and research different headsets just to save yourself the headache of potentially dealing with this known defect. I’ll make an update if it happens again or if it gets worse. People should know about the potential headache they’re going to be getting themselves into before buying.

Having used many gaming headphones and headphones in general, I have an idea of what is good and what is not. I have to say this Turtle Beach 700 gen 2 max is above average. But then again, you would expect that at this price range. One of the best feature of this unit is that it is a cross platform headphone. You can use this with a pc or any of the gaming consoles. The headphone comes with a usb dongle that has a switch on it that has pc or ps. I don't know what the ps stands for but you switch it to that side for any gaming console. The stated battery life is 40 hours and so far i've used it for a week now at a few hours a day and have not need to charge it. Definitely a beast on battery life. All the controls are on the left side of the earcups and honestly I don't know how to feel about this. I was use to my Razr having separate controls on each side of the headset so it was easier, at least for me, to differentiate the different function. So, in other words, still getting use to reaching for the volume wheel and the other buttons. I'm sure I will get over this. As for the buttons, there is a volume wheel and multi-function wheel that can be assigned a feature in the app. The mode button can also be assigned a feature. The audio and microphone are both good. Audio can be adjusted as well in the app. One really great feature is that the mic when flipped up to mute tucks away nicely so no one would really know that this was a gaming headphone. You could use it as a "regular" headphone for commuting or running around town. Since these are both bluetooth and wireless usb connection you have the option of connecting it to both your cell phone and pc/gaming console at the same time. If you get a call during a game, the mic on the game side is muted and audio from the game is lowered. The construction of the headset itself feels very sturdy. The headband is flexible and uses a metal band with a nice memory foam. The earcups are also very comfortable for long use. The only thing is the clamp force of this unit was a lot stronger than I would like and when I first put them on, it was kinda uncomfortable. Actually made it feel that the headphone was a lot heavier that it was. After some use, it did get better but as of now, still tighter than I would like. This issue and the fact that the mic and audio on my razr was just a little better, I gave it 4 stars. But keep in mind that my razr headphones cost more. That being said, this a very good pair of headphones.

My score out of 100 for this headset would be a 94/100. The good: Comfy, dial to hear your own voice is helpful, rotating ear muffs, the microphone being able to be muted by simply shifting it up a position, and the battery life. LEMME tell ya the battery on these is insane. It is labeled as 40hrs but i am even starting to believe it is longer as I forgot the last time I even charged these. In addition the copper color on the bands and accenting the headphones look stunning. lightweight but also sturdy in design and materials. You wont suffer from headphone fatigue or whatever that term is. The Bad: I am not a huge tech specs kind of guy but the headphones themselves are not overly loud. I find myself on playstation 5 adjusting party members and playing with the audio mix as certain games require different blends. Additionally, the color is cobalt blue which to my eye has more of a blue/purple tint than maybe a navy blue. Either way the design is sleek but if you're expecting navy blue it is just a touch different.

I use this on the PS5 for COD Black oops 6 and cyber punk. They work very well. The ease of use with the mic is great. They fit good on my head and do not squeeze my head. I sometimes have glasses on and they do not hurt my face because of the pinching. They are soft and feel of quality. They do not feel cheap.

Sound is fine but it was a connectivity headache until it finally broke at the earpiece. To start, it sounds fine. It sounds like any midrange headset out there. Now to the bad. It constantly cuts out unless it has a line of sight to the usb dongle in the PS5 or XSX. I can't lay down and play with it because the signal goes through my body and that interferes. So I have to prop my head up so the antenna (the strap around the top of my head) can get a good signal. I got used to that. 2 weeks ago, I had them lying on the couch and I was on my PC and I heard a crack. I noticed the plastic that connects the headstrap to the earpiece was cracked. I put them on and it got worse until it was finally dangling by the wire inside. I used plastic glue and gorilla tape and it kept the pieces connected but they were still too flexible. The plastic housing is thin thin. I would not expect this thin level of plastic on a midrange headset. This is like the plastic you'd get with one of those "OOVO" knockoff brands from Amazon. I went on Reddit and found multiple posts about this topic. They all had the same breakage at the same point, which tells me it's a design flaw that Turtle Beach must know about since they have a social media team. So they knew this headset has a high potential to break right after the warranty period, which is ok with them because it gets people to buy a replacement. It's the Apple strategy. I'm getting another brand that uses a metal frame.
