No mic boom was included in this product. Returned one, got another and still no mic boom. Set message to Turtle beach regarding this matter, no response. Overall, it's good to put the volume down on the TV, talk and hear everything on the headset, but if you have a fan blowing on you, it looks like you are chattering all the time.

This headset is overpriced to cash in on the Titanfall hype. It looks good, feels good, but the ability to hear your own voice with the in-game monitor only works on the PC/360 versions and NOT the One. It is the SAME headset as the XO Four, but is over $50 more. And the boom mic? Missing the foam filter.
The sound is bland and no where near the quality of previous TB entry model sets. The sound on the One cuts in and out, is more stereo than immersion, leaving little to be gained by wearing a headset over simply turning the TV up.
Overall, save your money on this overpriced headset.
