A less gross version of Human Centipede. Entertaining.

This movie is a bit strange but overall a good movie.

Strange film on Canadian Mythos, made by Kevin Smith.

This movie was so strange and off the wall that I couldn't stop watching it! I did let my sister watch it but got alot of flack for causing her to waste her time. You decide. It has to be your "cup of tea".

A very different Kevin Smith movie, which I knew & it didn't scare me away because I really liked Red State, but this one was odd & nonsensical. Wasn't his best work.

Every once and awhile I can appreciate and awkward, artsy-type, horror film. This movie kept my interest, but, ultimately fell short in the end.

This movie was a huge disappointment, especially coming from Kevin smith. I had high hopes and it was sadly lacking...

I looked forward to seeing this movie. Unfortunately, it is lost somewhere between a poor horror movie and an unfunny comedy.

I love Kevin Smith but this was the worst movie I have ever watched

This movie isn't for everyone. Though If you are a Kevin Smith fan or into B rated horror movies then you are in for an amazing treat. Kevin Smith spins a wonderful story of a man wanting to relive the one true friendship in his life that just so happened to be with a walrus. When you get down to it this movie was made because Kevin Smith fans wanted it. People are tired of seeing the same old Hollywood rehashes and remakes that they shove down our throats. Kevin Smith gives us something original a new idea in a see of the same old **** Yes the movie is ridiculous full of camp and satire. Yes it mocks horror tropes and heavily satires the internet culture. Yes you are going to see what Kevin Smith does best and brings the best out of actors. To all the people bashing this movie it was not made for you. You were not the audience and really have no right to judge it.

I went to see this opening weekend with a friend. There were five of us in the theater, counting him and I. We went and got exactly what we expected, you had never heard two grown men laughing harder than on that day. A Kevin Smith movie where a man turns another man in to a walrus. It's not so much a horror movie as it is a black comedy. I don't wanna say anything more about the plot because the sheer audacity of everything that happens from start to finish is beautiful, in a twisted kinda way. Like I said: It's a black comedy where a man turns another in to walrus, directed by Kevin Smith. Use your judgement.

I originally saw Tusk in theaters after not trying to read too much about it. After viewing, I wasn't quite sure about what I watched, but I needed to see it again. Once the Blu-Ray came out, I picked it up on release date and went home to watch It. Upon second viewing, I can easily say that Tusk is a very enjoyable and unique film. The only bits that bring it down for me are the longer scenes with Depp's character. If you are on the fence, think Misery meets the Human Centipede.

I've read and heard a lot of negativity to "Tusk", which is somewhat understandable. But at the same time, I am not sure how anyone could see the trailer, listen to the podcast/ramblings or generally read anything about the movie could expect anything less than absolute cinematic insanity. This is pure midnight flick madness, of the highest caliber. but it's also shot beautifully well, the production design is top-notch for indie-film standards, the performances are excellent (even from newcomer Genesis Rodriguez) and the script is everything but a "Human Centipede for Hollywood" as you may have heard. In fact, I think it's easily one of the most original films of 2014. People say they want original and THIS is definitely original. But most importantly, the film displays once more that Michael Parks is without a doubt one of the most criminally underrated and under-appreciated actor still living in American cinema. He is an absolute stunner, challenging even his performances from Smith's "Red State" and Tarantino's "Kill Bill" saga. If you're a cult fan, "Tusk" is a must.

This movie is definitely not your average horror comedy. The humor takes a special person to appreciate and the horror aspect doesn't go too overboard. If you truly love unique and quirky films I suspect you will appreciate this film as I did. The monologue is the most intriguing part about the movie. The script is very well written and the ending was not predictable.

Tusk is an extremely dark and twisted tale of a demented serial killer. The story is enhanced with caustic humor and very strong performances. Kudos to Michael Parks and Justin Long. Justin Long's mustache foreshadows things to come. Not for the average viewer.

The first half of Tusk is great, good horror, very dark tone, but when the movie gets to it's 2nd half is when it almost falls, but not quite for me since I know that this was Smith's intention. Film might gives some nightmares, but I laughed my pants off!

No matter what critics say...I enjoy all that this man does. He speaks to a generation, and believes in lifting others up to reach their dreams. He also favorited a tweet of mine...so bonus points for that. I listened to this podcast and enjoy every episode...the one where he came up with this was pretty hilarious. Everyone go listen to SmodCast!

Awesome movie and very entertaining if you have an imagination! Not as gruesome as I thought, darkly funny!
