This movie is good but waiting for the 4k version.

I love this movie! Say what you want about the editing errors (and yes, there were several) it was still a great story, with great actors, and great special effects. I had this on VHS and now have the digital version. I don't care how many years it has been, this is still a great way to spend an evening. Bottom line - I enjoyed this movie perhaps more than my many Marvel Avenger movies. But then, the location is rural America--no high tech, no super powers, no aliens--just a group of weather warriors going up against one of the most unpredictable and terrifying villains in our world--tornadoes.

This movie was enjoyed by the whole family. The action and Excitement of the film kept everyone entertained.

A huge hit when it was released, and its still an entertaining movie to watch after all these years.

Great classic to represent what it's like as a storm chaser and as the people who are victimized by tornadoes on a yearly basis. Love this movie since it came out and watched it with my son for the first time, and he enjoyed it , too! Only disappointment is that this does not come with a digital copy, and all my digital catalogs seems to have discontinued the disc-to-digital for a feasible couple dollars that they had in the past. Definitely recommend to anyone who hasn't seen it and enjoys movies that tell an actual story with some Hollywood thrown in.

but it's one heck of a "movie"! Bill Paxton is missed on the sceen, taken way too soon.

This movie should be taken as seriously as I would ‘Point Break’ (the original with Reeves and Swayze). Now deceased Philip Seymour Hoffman is a part of the cast (storm chaser). He can be hilarious in an old SNL type of way (e.g. “van down by the river”). Bill Paxton is a main character (next to Helen Hunt). If you’re familiar with his roles, then you know it’s not uncommon to see him get worked up (like Nick Cage). The Blu-ray is overall good quality. Picture and sound is good. Effects are slightly dated, but that’s the nineties. It was great entertainment upon release and holds up today.

The Incredible special effects of this movie, both Visual and sound, capture how angry and aggressive these tornadoes can be. The multiple scenes of storm chasing and survival keep you on the edge of your seat. Added to this is a bit of humor along with a reluctant, rekindled romance between the two main characters that in all makes this a memorable Storm movie that should stand the test of time.

I hadn't watched this movie in many years. Since before blu-ray. It looks and sounds much better than I expected. The bonus content is great, too. The price didn't hurt, either. I'm not going to write a review of the film. Others have done that. If you need to upgrade from your DVD or VHS (hey, ya never know), then this is a great one to add to your collection.

I remember sitting in the theatre the first day this movie came out, and I am still amazed that it still holds up as well as it does. It still entertains and manages to shake you a little bit, because it is a cautionary tale as well, as too many lives are still lost because our warning systems are not at their best. They have improved, but honestly how do you predict mother nature with pinpoint accuracy? My only gripe is the blu ray highlights the flaws of some of the special effects that I had hoped had been enhanced.
