I wasted several hours of my precious time in seeing if the app works with Alexa. But of no results. I will not recommend this to anyone.

Not the best bulb. It's on a dimmer so at night would flash like a rave. Hooked up to the Bluetooth once and couldn't connect sgain

Bulb is very quircky. Sometime the sunrise function works sometimes not. The shake function only works if you have the open on your screen. Doesn't dim low enough for me.

I purchased 2 bulbs for my son since you can control them through and app rather than a completely separate hub. One stopped working after 4 months, the other after 6 months. I called Ilumi customer support, left 8 messages with no reply and every email went unanswered....so much for a warranty. Needless to say I would never recommend this product to any one.

I can't say I feel this was worth the money or the time put into setting it up. I would not buy another one.

I didn't realize you need bluetooth and GPS for this to work. Not for me.....

Too much dependency on the internet for me. I also don't plan on buying a new device just to control my light bulbs.

I used my ilumi mainly as a sunrise wakeup alarm. For this it did an excellent job. There are many color progressions you can choose from, and programming it was easy and straightforward. My experience was mixed however, with using it as a normal light. Because it uses Bluetooth LE, some its other compelling features don't work well. For example, "Shake" allows you to shake your phone to turn the light on and off. In practice, because the app needs to be open and running in the foreground, the usefulness is limited. The hardware is good, but the software needs work.

Crazy new light bulb. Easy to install and to set up. Has an amazing variety of colors and settings and the companion app is free. Best light bulb ever but the price is a little high.

It is very much worth spending the extra $$ on Lifx.

I buy a lot of Technology items and I have to say this might be the worst item i have ever purchased. The software was just awful and unusable.It basically did nothing it reflected on the box except work as a very very expensive light. I can't return this fast enough.

These light bulbs are creative and amazing for the lazy man or woman in you. Can you say turn the lights out from bed with Bluetooth? Yea, it's just as sweet as it sounds. Or maybe your babe doesn't want the light off and you kind of are spent and would really prefer them off.... did I mention you can just change the color to literally any pleasing color you can think of.. and maybe sneak that thing slowly down on the brightness and hope they don't notice. So, one perk, I'm kind of relieved to find out, is how you can set your lights up to come on and off at planned sporadic times to gives burglars the false impression you're at home chilling when you go out of town this holiday season. Just don't leave the ilumi boxes in the trash, because if they're smart robbers, they'll notice that stuff and have you figured out. Ok, that's probably not an issue but I digress. If you get hooked on these guys like I did and wish every lightbulb in your house was one of these, note: you can create an unlimited number of 'groups' which are custom settings you've preprogrammed for your bulbs. So maybe you have a setting that turns your video game room into a chill room with grippy colors and not too bright. Obviously you're 'entertaining' setting will differ. Did I mention you can have your little psychic ilumis track where you walk around in your house (with your phone) and turn lights on before you and off behind. Did I mention these are great if you're lazy??

Great product! I enjoy using it to wake up in the morning by setting the light to turn on as I wake up. It works really well since I have black out curtains. It allows me to create my own natural sunrise at the time I'm ready to get up and feel refreshed. Also, my light is in a hard to reach spot so I can easily turn it off and on via my iPhone which I always have on me. Instead of searching for a remote control.

It works anout 50% of the time. The rest of the time the app crashes.

This is definitely the best bulb I ever had! It's extremely easy to set up by following the instruction. After installing an app in my cell phone, I could easily change the light from color to color as I like, or have them fade in and out. What's more, I can set an alert on the app and the bulb will turn on automatically in the morning to wake me up. Awesome,right? Just get this bulb!!!

This is the least intuitive app of the many I have used on my iPhone, iPad, etc. The bulb worked but it took a while to connect to the bluetooth on my brand new iPhone X, though I was a few feet away. It is not easy from the scheduling app (I bought this for automation) to delete old schedules. I selected 'off' at 7 am and the next screen said 3 am (happened several times with random times, so not my inaccurate entry). Then a pop-up asked if I am happy, I said no, and it presented a comments screen that had white characters on white background, i.e. invisible. Then the firmware update that I started 3x went to 20% very quickly each time, and then stalled. I am a technology geek and have updated firmware on numerous products. I have an Apple Watch, multiple iPads, iPhones, etc. I find most apps to be intuitive and very useful. I saw the original video that the company uses in its ads---they pitch the product to the Sharks at about $270 for three bulbs!! Now much cheaper, but it makes me wonder.... I have never taken the time to write a review. Now I have to go back to Best Buy to return.

It pains me to have to write this review - this is a product I've been waiting a long time for (supported the product on Kickstarter) and finally I've got my Ilumi! Unfortunately, I have not had a consistent experience with the bulb/app. Pros: - Colors look great - App is easy to understand, really like the "experiences" function to help sort out what you want the bulb to do in theory - Bulb seems very sturdy and like it will last Cons: - Dependence on Bluetooth. The bulb seems to need to consistently be connected to Bluetooth, and if there's any sort of interruption, everything you have scheduled ends up not happening. I have an iPhone 6 Plus and I've noticed that while you can always have your Bluetooth on, it can't always be connected to Bluetooth devices. -Inconsistency. I'm a tech-savvy person and even I'm having difficulty understanding why sometimes my scheduled "experiences" don't happen, and other times they do happen. For example, I have a scheduled "experience" set to have the light come on at 5:30pm. When I get home, I expect the light to be on. Sadly, I come home on more nights with the light failing to be on than it actually working. Overall, I think they have a lot of improving to do with the app that is required to use this bulb. Connectivity and consistency seem to be key issues here. Really great idea but less than good execution. I would not purchase another bulb, nor would I recommend this until I see better consistency with the bulb doing what it's supposed to do.

This light literally taught my 2 year old daughter her colors. Within 2 days she could name every color of the rainbow, I couldn't believe it. The app was very easy to use too. I can give my phone to my daughter and she has a blast with it. At night we use it as a night light because it can dim to a very low light setting. My daughter makes it pink or blue or whatever color she feels like for that night which makes putting her to bed a breeze. If she gets scared I can adjust the light from my phone app in my room to a brighter setting so she can see there are no "monsters". She goes right back to sleep and then I just dim the light back down to my night light setting and I never have to get out of bed. This bulb has saved me many hours of sleepless nights!! Best lightbulb ever!!!
