My daughter loves how she can change the look of her room or any room. The app is easy to use. Very vibrant colors.

I was using a different brand of smart bulb, but I was having continued loss of connectivity and decided to make a change. The ilumi is extremely easy to install, and it easily paired with my smartphone. Setting a schedule timer was not as intuitive in the initial setup, but it works fine. The different color options are nice to have even though I have not used them on a regular basis.

Love being able to change the room color to the color I choose. Works as advertised. Easy to operate app also.

I love how versatile the colors are! I was hoping it would be a little on the brighter side but I like it nonetheless.

The app and colors available are awesome. My son uses the light to turn his room various colors that coordinate with the time his alarm goes off.

So, I bought this on Black Friday because I was willing to try it smart home technology with the lightbulb, and I didn't want to pay a fortune for the Phillips hue lights. I tried a few of these in my room, and they were OK and somethings, but the main issues I had trouble with wire the fact that I had to leave Bluetooth on for my lightbulbs to work, The Music sink wasn't what I expected, and I couldn't control it with my voice. However, these lights are much better with Phillips you in the sense that they give you brighter, more true to life colors. Certain shades of green and other colors show up much better on these lightbulbs than they do on Phillips Hughes, whereas with shades of red and other colors, they do fairly similar Lee with. Overall, if you're looking for a basic smart home lighting that doesn't break your budget, and you're not all that concerned with the voice control, these are the smart lights for you. They work really well, they respond easily to commands, and the app is an absolute disaster to deal with.

Don't get me wrong, the bulbs are amazing. The app however is a big disappointment. I'd wait until April to buy these when the updated app comes out

No WiFi, no problem! I like this one more than the WiFi version. Colors are nice, and even a few themes available to spice things up. What surprised me most was the scheduling options. Set up for each day, and leave it alone unless you want a spontaneous change. I haven’t touched the app in weeks, and don’t feel the need to. Schedule times on AND off, as well as duration... Smart.

This product is easy to use and works as planned. I'm looking forward to adding more to my house and controlling with the app.

15 years ago I used to be a lighting consultant. Wow what I could have done with these bulbs. I put in a up light behind my tv and created a whole new movie experience. Looks great and easy to change colors to change the mood. Dimmable also.

Other than being a little under powered the LED is Awesome! I had to buy a second one because of the output. The colors are nice except for a few hues. It's a little pricey for a single light. The app is very helpful. Hopefully the price will come down a little soon.

This works easily to turn on and off. The different effect and modes are awesome. I had a few problems scheduling the light to come on with a timer but they told me it will be fixed in the next app update. Overall I am pleased.

I love this lightbulb, with the app you can choose the color you want from all the spectrum, it has also white and yellow light, it can improve the bluetooth range, the mobile phone (app) it has to be very close to the lightbulb to connect.

I bought these lights because I didn’t want to spend $200 on the philips hue set. These are an ok light bulb but they are lacking so many features. The app is just blah. Regret buying them. Should have saved my money m, ended up buying the hue anyway.

I have been mulling over getting a Smart bulb for quite some time. Originally the only option was the Phillips Hue, but the thought of having to buy a bridge or whatever it's called to get everything working didn't appeal to me. I came across these bulbs while shopping one day and thought I'd give it a try. In my opinion they're a great value for what you get. Bulbs are controlled by an app you can install on your iPhone. There's plenty of colors in the range. The best part is that they're brighter than traditional bulbs and consume less electricity. A hidden perk? There's an feature on the app that lets you set an alarm and the bulb functions like those wake up lights. You're practically getting 2 items for the price of one.

This is a good idea, but I was disappointed by Illumi. Most of the presets modes are just senseless color changes. The mode that mimics candlelight flicker is the only one I thought might be useful. The packaging and literature give the impression that the lights can set to music. However, the light does not sync or react to sound. The result is that there is music playing and lights are set to one of the preset or user defined modes, but they have nothing to do with each other. The app has a version 1 and a version 2. The user is required to start with version one in order to install a firmware upgrade for the bulbs before the version 2 app will recognize them. During the firmware update the app crashed and the bulb was left in limbo. There is no real way to correct this efficiently. After 2 days of trying to re-install the original firmware and hard reset the bulb I managed to correct the problem. Once the bulb was working I was able to see and experience what a complete let down this product is. I give it two stars only because you can actually turn the bulb on and off as well as modify the color and brightness. After more research, I am inclined to check out the Phillips Hue system. It has the added feature of a hub to help manage the bulbs you connect. It seems the Phillips Hue lights will actually respond and react to sounds if the user wants them to.

The bulb is awesome, but the app makes it only okay. If you plan to use this light on the same setting most of the time it's an awesome tunable bulb, just don't expect a great experience while programming.

The app is a little weird and they kinda change colors randomly from white to like dim light bulb. They are cool to set to music for parties and it's nice to be able to dim them.

This Bluetooth connected light is great when it works. The issues are with the bluetooth. Sometimes it connects instantly, but sometimes it takes 30 seconds or more which Is a waste of time to turn a light off. Also sometimes when you turn it off and the light is at a low brightness at night it will go to FULL 100% Brightness and hurt your eyes without even turning off. Ive used this light for almost a year now and all of these issues still exist through numerous app updates. For the $50 that I paid for this light bulb It should be much more reliable. I wouldn't recommend this light to anyone at the moment.
