No need to purchase this yet until App works. Don't buy it

I recently purchased my Ilumi smartbulb and I am very happy with this product. It was very easy to set up and the app tutorial was helpful. I enjoy the color wheel, it is very easy to navigate. The experiences are really neat, my son loves the music sync feature. I'm looking forward to seeing what else this lightbulb can do!

Why would a light need access to your phone's camera, video, pictures, call records and comtacts

I loved it while it lasted. But, it stopped working too soon

A friend of mine suggested this smart bulb to me so I decided to give it a try. It was one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. I love the color wheel and the ability to choose my favorite shade to light my house and bedrooms. It is a very user friendly product and I cannot wait to see what else ilumi has in store for its customers. I will only buy these lightbulbs from now on.

Pros: -Works exactly as advertised -Wide range of colors with easy app control -Installation takes about 5 min. -We especially enjoyed the circadian setting. (changes the color as the night goes on to make it easier to fall asleep) -Seriously, we can change the mood of our entire living room with an app Cons -The music sync option in the app is a little spastic -Overall, the app, while very functional, feel the app could be a little more polished. Still easily usable Overall, I would recommend this to friends. We are getting a second for our bedroom

Fantastic light! I love that there's no extra Bluetooth hub or anything you have to configure. It's just the light. Simple as that. The app is easy to use and clutter free. Just pulling it out of the box you can tell it's a quality light and it lasts forever. My favorite feature are the updates. For most lights like these, you have to update each light every once in a while which is time consuming and a little complicated. With this Ilumi bulb, you hit a button in the app and you're done. It's that simple.

This is the third smart LED brand I've tried. It's very energy-efficient, stylish, and useful. My kids love the light colors at the different time slots during a day. It meets all requirements I desire in a smart product: quality with unique features. It's not perfect but excellent value for money.

I love my ilumi bulbs! I started with just one bulb and that was awesome. However, after getting a few more it's really transformed my living room! First, we've loved the ability to get our perfect shade of "white" lighting (we found our standard bulbs to often be too yellow or too blue -- and the ability to adjust these ilumi bulbs has allowed us to pick the hue that we think is just right). Secondly, the simplicity of being able to control lights from my cell phone is just greatness! And perhaps the coolest thing is being able to adjust color for any situation and the use of the various features on the ilumi app (such as the music sync). Definitely recommend.

This is probably the best product of the year. The bulb is super easy to use and to set up with your phone. Great array of colors, and ability to turn off and on light from other rooms is amazing. Will definitely get some of these to give as Christmas presents.

PROS: Great light, full spectrum, features and options are fantastic. CONS: Follow through such as the link between the app and bulb can get spotty too often, needing to reconnect before getting the system up again. Always needing your bluetooth on. Flickering transitions rather than smooth flow.

I purchased this light to be used over my shower and so far I like it. For the price it's not bad. Build quality and brightness are good, my only complaint would be the mobile app. Connectivity takes a little time (~30 seconds) after turning the light on and the color transitions are not as smooth nor instant as I hoped. I purchased the Playbulb LED strip and have a much better interaction with that device over this but I needed the BR 30 bulb. There is an update that has been announced for the App by ilumi and as far as I know it is "Coming Soon" at this point. I look forward to the update and hope it smooths out the rough edges with the app. If you're looking for one light I think this is a good product. If you plan on adding multiple lights together I would wait or try the Lifx brand.

This is by far the simplest smart bulb as far as setup and use is concerned. Totally worth the price and the company keeps adding new features to the phone app which makes it fun to use after almost every update. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for an LED smart bulb.

app is simple to use and finally I can choose my "color" and temperature of the light. I used to spend a lot of time to find a store that carry the build with right light color. Now it is all solved. Actually, my daughter play it more than me. :-) I did got a couple of more and my daughter is using it as a new toy to create different color in her room. When it is all white, it very bright and very good for her to read and play in her room.

I own 22 of these lights and the APP and Lighs are SOOO buggy they always loose connectivity. It's been one year of waiting for them to fix the lights and still the latest version Dec 2016 is WORSE than ever! Take a look at the app ratings in the Play store or App Store. Tells it all!!!! DO NOT BUY!!

Great light bulb and easy to install and connect to device

it's amazing. I would very much recommend. Never seen such a smart stuff. Great job team. Loved the Music sync experience and the sunrise and sunset effect.

Don't ever buy these bulbs the app is horrible Every time the power go's out you have to manually reset them

Although the product seems well made I have choose to return it after downloading / reading the app and what you have to agree too make the bulb work. Really why would a light bulb need full access to my phones camera, video, phone & text records, microphone photos etc. No Thank You
