Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is one incredible small subwoofer. Previously I had a 15 year old Velodyne CT-80 and the MiniVee knocks the sox off the CT-80. I have the Yamaha Adventage 2040 Receiver and I used Yamaha's YPAO to set up all my speakers (5.1) and this baby is awesome. The bass is tight,even and controlled. I placed it in a corner of my living room and all I can say is WOW WOW WOW. The cabinet looks good and the size of the MiniVee is so small it makes the corner look empty, but the sound makes up for that. Velodyne is number one in my book for subwoofers.
