I was definitely of the opinion that the Apple Watch was a waste of time when it was first announced. I thought there was NO way I'd be getting one. I like wearing watches ($300-$800 range) and wear one everyday to work where we have a business casual dress code. I have a decent collection of watches already and couldn't imagine just not wearing them anymore in favor of a smartwatch, since it'd have to be worn everyday to be worth having. And certainly didn't want that nerdy tech geek look that wearing a smartwatch would bring. One day I actually played around with an Apple Watch in an Apple Store for the first time. Lo and behold I actually liked it! I decided to purchase one from my local BB with the intent to return it within the return window because I was SURE I'd get over that initial new buy feeling soon and would realize it just wasn't necessary. To my surprise I actually found the watch useful! It was like wearing one of my daily watches, but with more functionality. No more trying to reach into my pocket for my phone while driving to read a text message, or not even feeling my phone vibrate in my pocket when receiving a new message. With the watch vibrating for every new message I couldn't miss anything. The Activity app is very undervalued. It's quite nice that my daily movements are tracked and calories burned shown. It actually gives me the desire to want to do more physical activity to reach the daily goal. I picked the Milanese Loop model because I thought it looked classier and would go better with what I wear to work everyday. I was right and am not disappointed. I've received a few compliments so far on how nice it looked. Definitely glad I made the purchase. It's certainly not for everyone, especially if you're the type who doesn't wear a watch regularly. For me its perfect and I like it a lot!

Bought Feb 2016 and it has now fell apart Feb 2018 The dial face just fell off of the watch. $553 down the toilet

I have the Apple 6 plus 128GB, what an amazing pairing of technology! Apple truly outdid themselves with the watch! My SS Space Black watch has been absolutely flawless, from design, function, appearance to ease of operation. My watch has made communication and contact as effortless as it gets! All the features are becoming second nature, especially when your hands are full, or when riding your motorcycle, being active. Siri is amazing; from turning on your Pandora Rafio to giving you much needed directions and mapping easily seen from your wrist at a glance, never having to take your eyes off the wheel! I love the display, the features, the watch.

Pairing with my iPhone 6 was a breeze! Lightweight and comfortable. Easy to maneuver between apps. Don't have to get my phone from my bag, especially at work, since it immediately sends alerts of new mail, text or phone calls. On the pricier side since I picked stainless steel with sapphire crystal and ceramic underneath over the aluminum and ion-x glass version...$200 difference! Because I plan to wear it daily, and for durability and looks, I chose to spend $200 more! Happy birthday to me!

It's the only watch I will ever purchase and need. I love my Apple Watch, the battery last all day and sometimes two days depending on how much you use it. I have researched and read several reviews before deciding on the Apple Watch with stainless steel Milanese Loop band for a few reasons, but not before considering the benefits and drawbacks of Apple’s entire collection of straps and bands for Apple. I mainly bought the watch for fitness and to Receive and respond to notifications in an instant. Also to Track my daily activity. Control my music using only my voice. I also use it for paying for groceries, gas and any merchant that accepts Apple Pay. With Apple Watch, important, information and essential features are always just a raise of the wrist away. Milanese Loop won’t discolor or deform. It’s the only band that is truly resistant to scratches, deformation and discoloring, making it the most durable option among all the bands. Discoloration and deformation is a fact of life for those other materials and something, The pricier stainless steel Link Bracelet is also not impervious to damage or wear and tear; like all link bands, it will get scratched and scuffed quite easily (also an issue The Milanese Loop, however, with its busy, tightly weaved stainless steel mesh pattern, does an excellent job of resisting and hiding scratches. It's also, like all stainless steel bands, won’t have any issue with discoloration, deformation or damage due to sweat and lotions. If you are debating between the sport edition and the watch, definitely save up and get the higher end model. The stainless steel is a bit heavier which makes it feel more like a high-end watch and is also far more appealing to the eye. The metal choice makes it look more like a watch than a small iPhone sitting on your wrist (which is what the aluminum frame of the sport edition basically resembles). If you need something light and durable for high impact sports, perhaps opting out for the sport edition is more along your lines. Furthermore, the sapphire crystal makes the display far more durable and scratch resistant than the ion-x tempered glass of the sport edition. Overall, the appearance of the watch version over the sports version is worth the additional cost!

Debated on the two different sizes of the apple watch as I am a very small female. Wish there were an in between 40 mm size but maybe that might be in the future. I opted for the 42mm stainless and yes it is substantial on my small wrist but because I am 60'ish yrs old and cant see like I used to (haha) I needed the bigger screen to see it better and I also wanted the sapphire crystal display. Yes the stainless is weightier on the wrist but that is not a bother for me. The stainless will show scratches more than sport version but they polish away very easy. The watch is loaded with features and some I havent used yet. Love the activity reminders as well as getting and receiving messages and phone calls right on the watch. Yes very handy. The only feature I can slightly complain about and I am sure it is the operator is a double click to use apple pay will bring up the friends list a lot and not apple pay. There is an art to learning how quickly you must double click to get apple pay to come up and its kind of embarrasing when others behind you in a check out line see you while you have to keep clicking and clicking to get to apple pay. I blame that on me and not the watch. I find that I truly am a daily user and get great battery life only needing to charge every other day. The price is high for a watch but it's Apple and Best Buy did have it on sale during the holidays which was a big help. A great watch that is now part of my daily routine!

I love this watch and get compliments and comments on it every day. After having had it for just a few hours, I quickly learned how intuitive everything is. And this watch does so much more than I realized that it did! I'm very happy that I got the stainless model.....it looks very nice. Was originally going to purchase the aluminum model, but decided to spring the extra money for the stainless model. I'm glad that I did, as I love the way that it looks.

I wasn't going to buy this 1st generation watch, I usually wait for the second generation of any new product. Only then, if I'm still interested enough, will I take the plunge. The more I looked into the Apple Watch the more really useful it seemed that it might be. So I decided to buy one, keep it for one week and then decide. Today I've had the watch for 5 days and I know that I won't be returning it. I've been surprised at how helpful its notifications are and I didn't expect that I'd be picking my phone up so much less than I used to need to. It does so many "little" things right... Apple's usual top quality is evident in everything about this little device.

Great device. Convenient in everyday life. Love the notifications and being able to do quick reply. Siri is even more accurate than my 5s. I voice dictate texts daily via Siri. Stand reminders are helpful. Fitness part also excellent. Tracks my exercise accurately...more so than my treadmill which tends to give bloated/optimistic calorie burns. Very comfy to wear. I charge every evening at dinner time and wear to bed.

The watch as with most apple products is sleek, stylish, and cutting edge. It is such a great extension of the iPhone that it would be hard to get along without once you use it. The convenience of not having to drag the phone out of your pocket for every notification, message, alert, or call is undeniably a convincing argument to own one. The health and fitness monitoring and apps surpass other fitness bands I have tried. The ease of access to any app or feature is amazing. It charges quickly and last me 1-2 days depending on use. Making or answering a call from your wrist is easy but audio quality can be improved. Now if only they add a camera for FaceTime!

I purchased the Apple Watch thinking that I would likely use the Best Buy 15 day return policy. Never did I expect that I would use it's features as much as I do. As my business requires me to meet with clients, I can easily keep track of emails, text messages, the time and my next meeting all with a glance at the watch. What a great way to stay connected to what is happening throughout my workday without appearing to be inconsiderate to my clients by checking my phone every few minutes. It just appears that I am checking the time. I use it to control my apple tv, track my fitness, check the weather and so many more things. It really is a convenience to not dig for my iPhone everytime i get a notification. The easy to change bands are great too. I have rubber ones for workouts, leather and stainless ones for work and dress occasions. Takes less than a minute to change. Needless to say, I did not return it. This is definitely not an item that anyone needs...but is one that I now choose not to live without.

To say I am happy with this purchase is an understatement. I simply love my Apple Watch. After a few weeks testing it out against my fitbit charge, i was satisfied it would handle my health needs. It was then that I discovered the possibilities with the new apps that were available. I unlock my Mac when I approach it without having to log in, monitor email, send quick texts without pulling out my phone, and remote control my TV/Music. It wakes me up without a loud alarm that jars my wife too. I can't picture life without it. An A+ on my chart.

My husband is very hard on watches. We opted to purchase the more durable watch. We are very happy with this product. Like all the features of the watch and it looks great! Great purchase!

Just like any other Apple product I have purchased over the years, the quality is superb. The features of this watch far exceed what I expected. Easy to set up easy to use convenient in every way. I would recommend this product to everyone.

This watch is very handy! Love the space gray color and the sleek look and feel of Apple products. I get all my notifications and alerts here and it is very easy to manage

Just like the iPad, I didn't even know I needed it until I used it. Notifications and alerts are extremely convenient to view, especially while at work and can't get my phone out of my pocket with disrupting a meeting. I didn't even wear a watch before, and this has been nothing but awesome. I love the sapphire glass display because I don't have to worry about scratching the face. The bands are easy and convenient to replace and easily available eveywhere, not just at best buy. I use a black stainless band and it feels like a luxury watch. Battery last two days before it just sets down on the charger, but I put in on a charge every night next to my phone. I paid more for a name brand "luxury" watch, but the watch batteries are getting expensive on that thing.

He loved this gift & Christmas was perfect just because he had talked about wanting this watch soooo much way before Apple actually released them. He has been like a kid with a new toy since he opened it but I have to admit, we both feel like spies incognito since he bought me one as well!!! Love how we don't have to be in front of our cell phones as much, in that the watch handles all of the ordinary AND extraordinary things our IPhones do. Well worth the price, although we both received $100 discount during the sale! Another great apple product to add to our growing collection!

A wearable device is definitely something that is becoming more and more common. But the uses are more designed towards health tracking and similar apps. Apple watch changes this by adding phone functions with the main idea of not having to pull out your phone from your pocket or purse for quick review and responses. This is a device, considering the price, one can do without. But if someone wants to stay connected and has a large phone device that they would rather keep stowed in their pockets, this is a must have. It is sleek, lot of options, customizations to the face to match your style, light to wear, etc. Plus, you cannot go wrong with an apple device especially if you are within the Apple ecosystem of devices. I have been wearing this for a few months now, I play sports and have it on for almost 22 of 24 hours except when it is charging or when in the shower. If someone is not sure about it and is happy with using their phones, I would suggest to not spend the money at this time and look for the next versions coming out that may have more improvements.

Don't get conned into buying the sport version and the more expensive bands that apple make. The Better sapphire Apple Watch is the best choice, just get the sport band. For if you don't like it there are very cheap alternatives for the bands. Now away from all that, if you have a significant other I can tell you its the next generation of writing short notes to each other. Also, it helps me keep with the task at hand and minimize taking out my phone from my pocket for each notification.
