The watch does everything you need and more. The only thing I wish it could do is be a stand alone watch/phone. It would be great if you could use this without having to also have your phone with you at the same time. Another thing it could use is being able to go deeper underwater.

Very easy to customize. Greatly enjoy changing watch faces and including my favorite photo album. Battery lasts all day with several hours of exerCise and activity. Easy learning curve. Use the modular watch face 90% time because of the data you can customize--weather, sunrise/sunset, date, calendar, moon phase, time in different styles, color, exercise.

Great smart watch for a 1st gen watch from Apple! I had/still have my 1st gen MS Band. I like both, but the Apple Watch has more features that work with the iPhone for obvious reasons. Love how I can actually answer my iPhone & talk on my watch when my iPhone is upstairs charging!

The watch is awesome. It's fun to use and certainly helps when you have a 6s Plus or 6Plus iPhone so you don't have to take your phone out all the time. It definitely helps while driving for directions and reading fast messages by just tilting your wrist. However I find that I've lost interest in using it after only a few weeks. I have been using the ability to send watch messages drawn on it and my current heartbeat to my fiancée which is cool, but if you don't know anyone else with one it's definitely not something you can use. Siri integration on it is awesome and it picks up everything you say to be put into a text and if it doesn't it suggests you send an audio message instead. More and more apps are being added daily and that is the appeal but until then there's not a whole lot it can do except remind me that I have been sitting too long at work and should probably stand. All in all its a great accessory but it's like a two-way radio, it's no fun unless you have someone you can communicate on it with regularly or unless you have a large volume of reminders, alarms and messages that you want to see and your phone is somehow inconvenient.

I was concerned about trying to do too much on a watch and the battery life that would necessitate having to recharge every night. After buying I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. I use my watch in a myriad of different ways. It is user friendly and I simply recharge it every night when I recharge my phone. It is really awesome!

I'm new to Apple products, and I can say that using the watch was so easy even just after the Best Buy agent gave me a run down on how to use the watch, it's very simple and fun to use. I love it, I honestly didn't think that I would use it as much as I do, I absolutely love it. I love the look and feel of it. Definitely recommend it.

At first, I thought that I would never use this thing, but once I started wearing it, I fell in love with it. I use it mainly for notifications -- and also to track my activity throughout the day. It fits perfectly on my wrist with the Melanese Loop -- and I broke my wrist a few years back and it never healed correctly.

For every time I have a thought that an old fashion watch is better I think there is no way I don't want to wear the Apple Watch. I looks great its functionality is great. It's awesome. Other than my actual phone it is my most used device and it is gaining traction on the phone itself as I get more used to it.

Full disclosure, this was an open box item and I paid well below retail price for this. I was hesitant to purchase because of a possible watch refresh coming but because of the discounted price I took the plunge. This device is not earth-shattering, but it makes a great use of the on-wrist real estate and provides a convenient way to view notifications. It is in no way a necessity but an item of convenience. Expensive but a nice little splurge.

Stunningly beautiful and packed with so much capability. I had high expectations for this Apple device but after going through the discovery process of its capacity I am awestruck with how it can help me and look spectacular on me at the same time. A home run for Apple and an unbelievably lovely gift for me.

As a mortgage loan officer, I bought this to add convenience to my work life. I am on the phone almost all day, and on the go often as well. You get tired of always having to pull your phone out and look at it when someone is contacting you. This watch paired ot my ihone 6S plus, just by allowing me to filter junk calls from important ones without having to get my phone out every single time, all day, has alone made my daily work life so much more convenient. In that respect, job well done for accomplishing what I needed it for.
Aside from that, it's really fun to use and really helps with workout tracking and basic app functionality for many iphone apps.
Lastly, I should have bought the sport version for my needs, but you live and learn. I don't believe the sapphire crystal glass is worth the double price premium, especially considering the stainless steel bezel scratches fairly easily anyway (not the glass, the metal housing around it), but that's my humble opinion.

I may be biased because I'm a huge apple geek, but they've done it again! This product works seamlessly with the iPhone, so if you don't have an iPhone, I maybe wouldn't recommend. The stainless steel face is really nice, but tbh I wouldn't been fine with the Apple Watch Sport. It's a big financial commitment and is honestly more of a luxury than a must-have. It's still really cool and I wear mine everyday, using its features when I can.

the Apple Watch has a lot of nice features. It pairs with your iPhone and the two share a lot of information, data, and apps. The much-advertised Health and Activity apps are nice, but not game changers yet. The watch can only detect your pulse, which is nice to be able to see when you are working out, but there are products a lot less expensive that do this. The third-party apps, such as to do lists, are still half-baked and are challenged by the small screen. I'm sure they will get better over time, but not a single one of my favorite iPhone apps worked well enough to be useful on the Watch. I'd rather just pick up my phone.

The only thing that held me back from purchasing was the battery life. However, I have yet to find battery life to be an issue. I take it off the charger at 7:30 am and still have over 40% at 11:00 pm. I take several calls per day, get all of my text, etc. I use the watch with a 6s Plus so it keeps me from having to reach for my phone all the time. If you are worried about battery life, don't. Also the Milanese Loop is awesome. Very comfortable and light. I love the watch for Apple Pay and for paying at Starbucks! So much more convenient that getting out my phone. Totally worth the money.

I bought the Space Black Stainless Steel version after owning the Space Grey Sport version.
The only thing I miss about the Sport is how light weight it was compared to this one.
However I switched to this version due to the scratch resistance from the screen being sapphire! I was paranoid about my screen on the Sport getting scratched but didn't want to ruin the look of the watch with a protective case or a screen protector.
The thing I love most about this watch is the fitness features. I love being able to see my distance, calories burned, and heart rate at a glance during my runs!
I also love getting notifications right on my wrist. Whether I'm out on a run or just around the house, I don't have to worry about digging my phone out or keeping it within earshot so I don't miss a notification.
It was expensive and it's definitely not a must have, but it is an excellent accessory to my iPhone! The only reason it doesn't get a full 5 stars is because I think the price could be a little lower.

Intuitive and fun accessory(read review)

For the price, you expect sleek and intuitive. It is those two things, but the magnetic band on the fancy wrist strap doesn't always stay aligned with the portion of band that it's magnetized to. Also, the band doesn't stay clasped as tight as you set it in the morning, this may be due to that band that slips.
This is not an item you buy as a standalone item... It is an expensive accessory that enhances the user experience with your IPhone. The phone calls are speaker only when put through the watch... My favorite way to talk on the phone is by rubbing my beard repeatedly.... Lol. Makes it look less conspicuous. I turned off the sensors on the underbelly to save battery, and because I'm not active enough to utilize the workout aspects of the watch. I don't imagine that sweat under this watch would be comfortable though...
The screen is very durable... I've smacked the on corners of tables and walls... No scratches.
It is reportedly waterproof to a certain point... I've worn it in the rain and it didn't get effected... Haven't been gutsy enough to submerge it underwater.
Apple Pay from the Watch is awesome, but a pain to set up.
My biggest surprise in owning this item for the last few months, is how much freer and safer I feel while driving. Navigation is very fun... The haptic sensors on the under belly lightly pulse on your wrist when you have to turn left or right. With a flick of the wrist, you are able to see miles till directional turn, with a swipe to the left, you see a miniature maps displayed like you would see it in your iPhone. Also makes texting easier while driving... Quick responses are good, and voice to text is neat but not perfected (misspellings etc).
Taking calls in the car, with the windows up is doable and my friends haven't reported any sound difference from watch versus cell phone in the car.
On silent mode, the watch lets you navigate business meetings with much more finesse. You can quick glance and quick a text and swipe and dismiss it or answer it.
Another favorite feature: holding your hand over the watch for three seconds silences it and turns off the screen. If a call is incoming you can Palm the watch face and it will deny it and if you quick glance to check a text but don't want to appear like you are boredly checking your watch (for those who don't notice it as an Apple Watch) you cover the watch and itch your wrist ;)
It's a fun piece of technology, but the price is hefty.

At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy the watch because they can be a bit pricey and wasn't sure if I'd use it everyday, but I decided to give it a shot and ended up getting it for my birthday. It was easy to set up and I use it just about everyday. Great for notifications you might normally miss if your phone was in your pocket, bag, or on vibrate because you receive the notification on your wrist also. Also great for getting quick info (emails, weather, calendar and so on) without having to pull your phone out . The only complaint I have but not a very big one is some apps take a few seconds to load at times and other times will load right away but that can also happen from time to time on the phone also depending on network/wifi connection so it's not a big deal to me. Over all I love the watch, and all the features it has.
